I live in Arkansas and chose to have my eyes checked at Wang Vision Institute and I'm so glad that I did! I had RK surgery done back in the early 90's and had scar tissue and residual problems with astigmatism years later. I was told by other Dr's there was nothing I could do to fix the problems. I met with Dr. Guduru and he was very confidant he could help me. I had to sign a waiver that stated, I would still have to wear reading glasses, but that was better than having to wear glasses all the time. I can not recommend the Wang Vision Institute enough! The location is convenient to get to (which is hard to do in Nash), the office is clean, calm, quiet, and not short on refreshments or snacks while you wait, which will never be for long. The staff are all extremely kind and patient with you, they never make you feel like you're just another paycheck. Scott, Cameron, and Dr. Jones were all amazing! I had amazing talks with all of them, they made sure I got all the information I needed for LASIK, that I had every opportunity to ask any questions I had literally until the moment before I stepped into the LASIK room. Speaking of LASIK, the surgery went perfect! I had a VERY bad astigmatism before WVI, so bad I honestly wasn't sure I'd even qualify for LASIK, and if I did they'd never be able to get my vision corrected the way I had hoped. But Dr. Jones did a fantastic job and he got my vision all the way to 20/15!! I cannot stress this enough, if you need ANY kind of eye care, LASIK or otherwise, PLEASE use Wang Vision Institute!! I had SMILE eye surgery yesterday afternoon and at my follow up appointment this morning I am already seeing 20/20! The whole experience from initial consultation through follow up visit was great. The surgery was easy and very quick. I previously went to another eye surgeon in downtown Nashville who told me I wasn't a candidate for lasik because of my astigmatism and he wanted to perform PKR. A month ago I had life changing corrective eye surgery. Made appointment and received exam. Scheduled my 3D LASIK later that week and a follow-up the next day. At 62, I had seen my vision decrease in both distance and near, so I was told by Dr. Wang that the 3D LASIK would allow me to gain my distance vision but might need to still use reading glasses to read. My vision improved the first day and on the second day, I was seeing everything so clearly that was outside my reach. Still a little fuzzy if within my reach. This was die to a bad astigmatism in my left eye. Anyway, so very thankful for this surgery by Dr. Wang. His staff are all great in how they work with their patients as well. The cost can be financed and Dr. Wang pays the first 2 years of the finance charge. This also was a great way to pay the cost to be able to see again. More

My care from beginning to end was awesome! Dr. Ming Wang and his team were attentive and treated me with respect and concern. I'm only 52 but already was experiencing vision loss due to cataracts. I've been in glasses since I was 2 beginning with double vision. I also had a strong astigmatism which made it difficult to even wear contacts as I got older. As the years wore on I adapted to only seeing mediocre. I never dreamt that I'd ever be able see this clearly. I'm only a few days out from having laser cataract surgery and I'm seeing 20/20. i went to get lasik or at the least try and see if i was a candidate after being shot down so many times. dr wang took me in looked over my charts and immediately said he could do it! my vision was horrible before i had an extreme amount of astigmatism. after performing my surgery my vision was a huge increase now i can see 20/25 and that was after the first day! its only going to get better. theres so many things i could say about my experience but simply it was amazing and life changing. My name is Charlene Cain. I had severe astigmatism for 40 years. Every eye doctor I have seen told me that having any surgery to correct my vision was out of the question. "couldn't be done" they said... "your case is too extreme" they proclaimed. Every year, as my prescription changed I paid upwards of $500 for glasses. Yesterday I underwent my LASIK surgery with Dr. Wang. This place is very thorough, taking many tests before doing the procedure. This made me have more trust in Dr. Wang and his systems. I had somewhat severe astigmatism, and he said I was a tough case. I am a cosmetic/general dentist, so my eyes are very important for my work. He then went on to show me a text book he had written on the subject of astigmatism, this let me know I was in the right place. It looks like he's basically worked on every celebrity that lives in Nashville, from looking around his office. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The exam is very thourough, and takes a little while for all the data to be collected, but I think it probably makes the surgery safer. The actual procedure might have taken 2-3 minutes. I didn't even need the Valium. More
