A cataract is the fogging of the lens of the eye that occurs over time, generally due to age, which causes patients to have decreased vision quality.

Laser cataract surgery is quickly becoming the industry standard when it comes to treating patients who have vision-related issues due to a cataract.

While traditional cataract surgery is still widely performed today, we encourage our patients to learn about their other options for treatment.

If you develop hazy, cloudy vision in the months or years following cataract removal surgery, a YAG capsulotomy can be performed for clearer vision.

Intraocular lenses (IOLs) are artificial lenses that are utilized in laser cataract surgery to replace the cataract and restore a patient's vision.
