I went there to do LASIK surgery and the experience was very pleasant, and most importantly, the surgery was a complete success! Everyone in the team was kind, patient and helpful, including Dr. Jake, Cameron, Dennis, etc. After exam and consultation, I decided to do SMILE which is a smaller cut than LASIK. Dr. Wang did the surgery. He was very communicative and encouraging and mostly importantly, super experienced! The recovery has been going very well and it’s definitely worth it! More
My experience with the team at Wang has been beyond my expectations! He has an exceptional bedside manner and his skillful surgeon's hands have done many an eye surgery. Our new lenses have worked out beautifully. Most recently, we've both been treated for dry eye. I never knew it was an actual affliction, it sounds so Visine-gets-the-red-out kind of problem. But, it's a big problem and it affected our vision, so we highed ourselves back to the Wang Vision Institute. This time, we met Dr. Wysiadlowski ("Dr. Wish") who has introduced to the Wang Institute IPL (intense pulsed light) as a treatment for dry eye and roasacea and hyperpigmentation that also by the way improves the collagen in your skin. Yup. All of that and it's non-invasive. IPL does quite a lot, so you should call them and ask. Also, Wang Vision Institute has a nice range of medical spa procedures. Today was my very last session and I'll still need to go in for annual refreshes. My dry eye is almost cured. I still have to use some prescription drops, but that's an itty bitty inconvenience for the clarity of vision that I now have. Cherry on top is that Dr. Wish is lovely. He has been very attentive in treating me. The IPL pulse is quite bright and that alone makes me twitch, which makes him check on me often. I'll happily go back to see Dr. Wish in 6 months. From my initial assessment to the second cataract removal my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The efficiency, professionalism, friendliness, and empathy from the staff is very rare these days. Dr. Guduru is quite obviously a top notch surgeon combined with a caring and superb bedside manner. His talent for explaining issues and resolvement of them is delivered without condescension or hurry. I believe my coordinator was Wendy (or Amanda), as well as a lovely OD who came in on my first visit. I feel badly I didn’t write down his name! Top of the line eye health. This facility was the most friendly's place I've ever visited. Dr Guduru, MD is a smart, friendly, and very professional doctor. He gave me the best recommendations for correcting my vision and treating my glaucoma. The surgery went very well, and now I don't have to worry about buying new glasses very year. I love it!! I have a daughter-in-law who had her surgery here so I decided to search them on Google I decided to phone them and they were very nice and talked to me and gave me ideas of pricing and type of surgeries and suggested I come in for a free consultation. I went for my consultation just a few days later and they said my eyes were a good candidate for surgery but would not be covered by Insurance because I do not have cataracts yet. I'm 67. After 2 or 3 hours of eye tests and consulting, I decided I would like to do the Forever Young surgery and we scheduled it for a week later. The surgery went beautifully and here I am two days later able to see great as well as I did with my bifocals and reading glasses but with no glasses on. I am ecstatic and would highly recommend it. Had LASIK a little over a week ago and haven't been able to stop talking about what a GREAT experience I had from start to finish at Wang. There aren't words to describe how anxious I was throughout the whole day, and everyone I spoke with here was so kind and reassuring about every piece of the process. I cannot recommend the procedure and specifically Wang Vision enough - if you are on the fence like I was, then going in and speaking to the staff will be extremely helpful for you. My surgery tech (James I think) was the absolute best person to have in the room, reassuring me that everything was going normally, counting down how long was left on each eye, and at several points actually holding my hand when I started to get nervous. Not joking when I say I would have bolted if it wasn't for him so I cannot give him enough praise. My appointment was at 9:00 AM and I actually when in for surgery at around 2:30, so be prepared for a long (but very much worth it) day. I also did a consultation at Loden - it would have been a lengthier process there and I was able to work with Wang on pricing so it ended up being more worth it time and money wise for me to go with Wang. Cannot overstate how much you should DO IT if you've been wanting to! More

The team at Wang vision institute is top notch! I am a dental surgeon and having eye surgery has been on my mind for years but I was afraid to put my ability to work at risk. Well all those concerns were thrown out of the window once I met the team here. Gabby saw me for my first exam and was very sweet and thorough and truly made feel like this is the best place to be. The team makes a business great and I can seriously say Gabby is amazing at her job, thank you. Dr. Jones and Dr. Zimmerman did my consultation and both answered all of my questions even when I grilled them about the stuff I had read online. I didn’t feel like I was being sold on any treatment but really informed well. Cameron the coordinator explained the finances very well and worked with my dad and I both so we could do the surgery together. This place gave us a complimentary consult and same day treatment, which was great considering I work as a welder and can't wear my glasses at work - so I was able to plan this around our annual shut down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when things got a little difficult with the HSA card. We got there about 15 minutes early and got called back right away, exam was fast and easy, took a few minutes for the doctor to come back, he was friendly and examined me quickly, answering all of our questions thoroughly and without making us feel any type of way about them, the financial coordinator took a while to come in, but was helpful one he got in there and explained the pricing for us, even helped us apply for financing. The front helped us deal with HSA card issues, worked with my night shift schedule, and I even checked in on Facebook and got my girlfriend a Starbucks gift card! The only complaint about that process is some of the things they "upsold" us on - I didn't feel like gave the best explanation. The eyelid cleaning - was a HORRIBLE experience and I wouldn't ever get that or recommend it to anyone. I felt like it was a waste of money, didn't do much, but also wasn't fully explained just recommended/told I had to get. The lady who did it cleaned them with a brush, which was fine, but then used the bright light (without telling me it would be a bright light, right after my eyes were dilated) and shoved it into my eye socket, even when I pulled back and told her it was really tough her response "yeah it's a little uncomfortable" with a laugh - just felt like she didn't truly know how to do it right and caused a lot of pain before I even had the procedure. I asked for the Valium beforehand/told her they should give it before that as I was already anxious - she just laughed and said I get it after. My girlfriend even went home and watched some videos on the treatment and says that is NOT how the lady did it - for $650 an eye I feel like that should've been a better experience. I also think they could've explained the SMILE procedure itself a little better and how the flow would go - I was anxious about the laser, but not being able to move at all for thirty seconds sent my anxiety and blood pressure skyrocketing - and I feel I would've been better prepared if they told me ahead of time what to expect. I also got the little tear duct plugs they recommend - and then at the follow up the next day had to have one taken out, just didn't make sense, if they were that needed why was it removed next day, but the rest stay for 3-4 months. Overall I had a good experience and I would do it again without question. My vision was improved that day, and other than a little blurriness I'm able to see without corrective lenses for the first time in my life - and I had HORRIBLE vision. I just wish they had explained a little more and helped me feel fully confident in everything I paid for. To anyone wanting to get it done - they were great, I wouldn't personally recommend the eyelid cleaning - BUT the staff was amazing and the procedure has changed my life. More
This place gave us a complimentary consult and same day treatment, which was great considering I work as a welder and can't wear my glasses at work - so I was able to plan this around our annual shut down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when things got a little difficult with the HSA card. We got there about 15 minutes early and got called back right away, exam was fast and easy, took a few minutes for the doctor to come back, he was friendly and examined me quickly, answering all of our questions thoroughly and without making us feel any type of way about them, the financial coordinator took a while to come in, but was helpful one he got in there and explained the pricing for us, even helped us apply for financing. The front helped us deal with HSA card issues, worked with my night shift schedule, and I even checked in on Facebook and got my girlfriend a Starbucks gift card!The only complaint about that process is some of the things they "upsold" us on - I didn't feel like gave the best explanation. Before coming to Wang Vision, I was wearing contacts for 8 years and my vision just kept getting worse and worse every year (-6.50 on both eyes). Before I knew it, I was able to read in 20/20 vision 24 hours after my surgery. I had the SMILE procedure done and it took 45 minutes. I've been wearing glasses/contacts for years now and grew tired of spending money on both and having to wear them. Had been considering Lasik surgery for about a year now but hesitated in doing so because I wanted to find the right place to get it done at. My wife found Wang Institute online and saw the remarkable reviews they had. I scheduled and appointment 3 days ago, was approved for the surgery that day. The staff was very friendly and informative about the procedure and answered any questions I had before getting the surgery done. I went in for the surgery and was out quickly. There was no pain in the procedure nor was anything felt during the procedure. Now 3 days later, I have been able to see a remarkable difference in my eye sight. A month ago I had life changing corrective eye surgery. Had such a wonderful experience! Went in for a consultation and was approved for both SMILE and Lasik. Ended up going with the SMILE procedure, same day! Everyone there was so lovely and friendly--- which was helpful as I was pretty nervous. The procedure was so much better than anticipated, I did not feel a thing and the recovery was very easy too! I feel super lucky! The individuals in the room with me during the procedure were very sweet and talked me through what was happening. To top it off-- Thanksgiving was the next day and Dr. Jones, who did the procedure, called me on the holiday just to check in and see how I was doing. So beyond nice for him to do on a holiday. Can't say enough nice things and now I see so well! An overall win. More

They informed me about all the types of procedures there is.I have very high long sightedness and astigmatism. I qualified for all of procedures but recommended me for the SMILE procedure. On surgery day 11/07/22 they went over the DOs and DONTs post surgery. It was my first surgery but I was not nervous I had faith everything was going to go well. Dr.wang and the nurses made sure I was taken care off. The doctor prayed for me before the surgery which gave me more reinsurance everything was going to be okay. The surgery went very well, I had no pain I only experience blurriness which is very normal. Gave me all the drops I need to take. After surgery I made sure to keep my eyes closed as much as possible. Today as I am writing this on 11/08/22 I had post surgery appointment in which they checked my eyes told me I have 20/20 vision. My recovery is doing well as they expected it to be. Made sure I have all the drops I need to be taking. Overall the nurses and doctor made everything very clear. I’m very thankful for the staff. I recommend it if you qualified for it. More

Hello everyone, I've had bad eyesight since 3rd grade and my prescription for the year 2022 was about -7.5 in both eyes. In other words, i was totally blind. I couldn't even find my glasses in the morning because i couldn't see them. I've thought about getting corrective surgery for years but it always terrified me. This year I just got fed up with the struggle of wearing glasses and decided to see if I qualified for it. At Wang vision institute, I qualified for Lasik and Smile. I decided to go with smile, even though it can be pretty costly, because I wanted the best treatment for my eyes since they were so bad and it was less invasive. I had the surgery the same day and even though i was extremely anxious and nervous, I was able to go through it because Dr. Wang made me feel like I was in good hands. I trusted him to do it right and his assistant, Gabby, constantly reassured me through the whole thing. Everyone there was so patient and kind. I look forward to my check ups which is something I usually dread. It might be expensive, but you're in the best care. I saw 20/20 next day. It's life changing. More
