After speaking with Dr. Zimmerman I went ahead and chose to do SMILE immediately following my consultation. Dr. Guduru completed the procedure. He was fantastic along with his assistants. Dr. Guduru explained each step during the surgery and his assistants were encouraging which made it a great experience. I had a fairly high prescription for the last 20+ years so waking up the day after surgery and being able to see as if I had glasses on was such a cool feeling. 10/10 would recommend Wang Vision!! I had astigmatism and nearsightedness, but now enjoy 20/20 vision with no complications since I got SMILE surgery at Wang Vision Institute a year ago. There was period of recovery for about 6 months when objects looked washed out and my eyes were extra sensitive to light, but it was worth that minor inconvenience. More

I had SMILE eye surgery yesterday afternoon and at my follow up appointment this morning I am already seeing 20/20! The whole experience from initial consultation through follow up visit was great. The surgery was easy and very quick. I previously went to another eye surgeon in downtown Nashville who told me I wasn't a candidate for lasik because of my astigmatism and he wanted to perform PKR. I came here for a 2nd opinion and they said I was a good candidate for lasik/SMILE. The thorough knowledge they shared with me eased my fears, so much so that I wanted to go ahead and get the procedure done the same day - and they were kind enough to fit me in for the last procedure of the day. I am a classic case of "got glasses when I was nine and haven't been able to see without them since." A bladeless LASIK procedure was something that I had wanted to do for well over a decade. WOW! This place is a well oiled machine! I had the SMILE surgery and every single person I encountered was beyond kind, professional and knowledgeable. Starting with Dr Zimmerman, who was a pleasure to work with and straight forward, then Cameron who coordinated my surgery and made the process so enjoyable! James prepped & walked me through the actual surgery, he was awesome! And lastly Dr Jones who performed the surgery, kept me at ease and did an incredible job! This place gave us a complimentary consult and same day treatment, which was great considering I work as a welder and can't wear my glasses at work - so I was able to plan this around our annual shut down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when things got a little difficult with the HSA card. We got there about 15 minutes early and got called back right away, exam was fast and easy, took a few minutes for the doctor to come back, he was friendly and examined me quickly, answering all of our questions thoroughly and without making us feel any type of way about them, the financial coordinator took a while to come in, but was helpful one he got in there and explained the pricing for us, even helped us apply for financing. The front helped us deal with HSA card issues, worked with my night shift schedule, and I even checked in on Facebook and got my girlfriend a Starbucks gift card! The only complaint about that process is some of the things they "upsold" us on - I didn't feel like gave the best explanation. The eyelid cleaning - was a HORRIBLE experience and I wouldn't ever get that or recommend it to anyone. I felt like it was a waste of money, didn't do much, but also wasn't fully explained just recommended/told I had to get. The lady who did it cleaned them with a brush, which was fine, but then used the bright light (without telling me it would be a bright light, right after my eyes were dilated) and shoved it into my eye socket, even when I pulled back and told her it was really tough her response "yeah it's a little uncomfortable" with a laugh - just felt like she didn't truly know how to do it right and caused a lot of pain before I even had the procedure. I asked for the Valium beforehand/told her they should give it before that as I was already anxious - she just laughed and said I get it after. My girlfriend even went home and watched some videos on the treatment and says that is NOT how the lady did it - for $650 an eye I feel like that should've been a better experience. I also think they could've explained the SMILE procedure itself a little better and how the flow would go - I was anxious about the laser, but not being able to move at all for thirty seconds sent my anxiety and blood pressure skyrocketing - and I feel I would've been better prepared if they told me ahead of time what to expect. I also got the little tear duct plugs they recommend - and then at the follow up the next day had to have one taken out, just didn't make sense, if they were that needed why was it removed next day, but the rest stay for 3-4 months. Overall I had a good experience and I would do it again without question. My vision was improved that day, and other than a little blurriness I'm able to see without corrective lenses for the first time in my life - and I had HORRIBLE vision. I just wish they had explained a little more and helped me feel fully confident in everything I paid for. Before coming to Wang Vision, I was wearing contacts for 8 years and my vision just kept getting worse and worse every year (-6.50 on both eyes). Before I knew it, I was able to read in 20/20 vision 24 hours after my surgery. I had the SMILE procedure done and it took 45 minutes. Dr. Jones is an amazing eye surgeon and Dr. Zimmerman was very knowledgeable and answered any concerns I had about my eyes before the surgery. This surgery is most definitely a life changing experience! If you are considering either LASIK or SMILE, go to Wang Vision! More

They informed me about all the types of procedures there is.I have very high long sightedness and astigmatism. I qualified for all of procedures but recommended me for the SMILE procedure. On surgery day 11/07/22 they went over the DOs and DONTs post surgery. It was my first surgery but I was not nervous I had faith everything was going to go well. Dr.wang and the nurses made sure I was taken care off. The doctor prayed for me before the surgery which gave me more reinsurance everything was going to be okay. The surgery went very well, I had no pain I only experience blurriness which is very normal. Gave me all the drops I need to take. After surgery I made sure to keep my eyes closed as much as possible. Today as I am writing this on 11/08/22 I had post surgery appointment in which they checked my eyes told me I have 20/20 vision. My recovery is doing well as they expected it to be. Made sure I have all the drops I need to be taking. Overall the nurses and doctor made everything very clear. I’m very thankful for the staff. I recommend it if you qualified for it. More

Hello everyone, I've had bad eyesight since 3rd grade and my prescription for the year 2022 was about -7.5 in both eyes. In other words, i was totally blind. I couldn't even find my glasses in the morning because i couldn't see them. I've thought about getting corrective surgery for years but it always terrified me. This year I just got fed up with the struggle of wearing glasses and decided to see if I qualified for it. At Wang vision institute, I qualified for Lasik and Smile. I decided to go with smile, even though it can be pretty costly, because I wanted the best treatment for my eyes since they were so bad and it was less invasive. I had the surgery the same day and even though i was extremely anxious and nervous, I was able to go through it because Dr. Wang made me feel like I was in good hands. I trusted him to do it right and his assistant, Gabby, constantly reassured me through the whole thing. Everyone there was so patient and kind. I look forward to my check ups which is something I usually dread. It might be expensive, but you're in the best care. I saw 20/20 next day. It's life changing. More

If you have considered getting Lasik eye surgery and are a good candidate THIS is your sign to do it! Dr. Wang and his staff were very knowledgeable and kind. Yesterday I went for my consultation and had my surgery the very same day. Dr. Wang himself even called me the night after my surgery to check on me and see how i was doing. This morning I woke up and for the first time in over 15 years I was able to see without my contacts and my vision is supposed to keep improving over the next few weeks. I 100% recommend going to see them for a consultation if you are considering having any kind of eye surgery. More
The ideal experience at Wang Vision Institute. I initially came in for a consult in April of 2022 and was planning for a same day procedure which isn’t uncommon for patients who come in for laser surgery. I was provided thorough and prompt instructions and guidelines via email prior to coming in. Once in the office, the staff completed the initial tests/exams to determine if I was a candidate for Lasik and/or SMILE. I was a candidate for both, fortunately and ultimately opted for SMILE because of my “high prescription”, over -4.0 in each eye. Right before the procedure when getting ready to pay, I ran into a hiccup with my FSA provider that unfortunately resulted in me postponing my procedure to a future date. The staff and my coordinator were understanding and had no issues whatsoever - they went above the call of duty to help me try and resolve the issues with my FSA and kept in touch in the meantime. Once the FSA issue was resolved, I rescheduled and had a great experience - once again. The surgery went very smoothly and I had 20/20 vision by the next day, with improvements still on the horizon. Couldn’t be happier that I won’t need to deal with contacts/glasses for many many years! The procedure itself was painless, a slight amount of pressure (and let’s be honest, there are many doctors visits in life when they say you might feel “slight discomfort, or pressure” and sometimes that discomfort and pressure feels a lot more intense than you were expecting)..but in this case, with my right eye I don’t think I felt hardly anything! The left eye, I felt a bit more pressure but no pain. Almost like a 5 second headache which quickly resolved. The post ops instructions were clear and laid out prior to the surgery and we were provided everything we needed before the surgery. The only item needed that wasn’t provided was prescription eye drops, which they called in to my pharmacy before we left. As a tip for future patients, it’s called Moxifloxacin, and you will have to pay out of pocket for this. I recommend finding a discounted price on GoodRx, so when you let them know your pharmacy, they can send it to one with the price you want. Because it would have been $90-150 pharmacy rate, but we got it for $20 at Publix and it was only $13.99 on GoodRx at Costco. Lessons learned! All in all, a wonderful experience without a hitch. Dr. Wang was kind and thoughtful. I’m not an anxious person around medical persons or procedures, but I know for people who may have more anxiety, the staff and Dr. Wang will take amazing care of you and help you feel at peace. 😊 As far as costs go, you will pay per eye and there are some additional “per eye” costs that are additional and some upgrade packages. I would classify it as an investment that is well worth it but make sure you have a good understanding of the costs before committing. SMILE is more expensive than Lasik because it’s a newer technology. But recognize, this was not an inexpensive investment and maybe something you’d like to weigh based on your current prescription and investment in eye care regularly. With annual visits, new lens and glasses annually for me, and $200 worth of 2-week contacts per year, it will pay itself off in a short while. The price of the years of convenience is something to consider as well! The base price also includes post op visits, the procedure, and the post op materials. Altogether, I couldn’t be happier and I have a feeling the more I heal, the happier I will be with the results. I scheduled my evaluation and was able to get a good understanding of which surgery (lasik or smile) was for me. I was able to schedule my lasik procedure a few weeks afterwords. The surgery was painless and quick. Recovery is also painless, just follow your doctor's orders and recovery will go great! More

I received SMILE about three weeks ago and am blown away by the results! Not only was the procedure quick and painless, the recovery time was only days compared to what would have been weeks with PRK. I cannot recommend Wang Vision enough. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and the staff was super accomodating and patient with me during the preparation and procedure. For anyone reading this and considering PRK surgery, I would encourage you to look at SMILE as an alternative. If you want a quick and painless surgery, Wang Vision Institute is the place. More
I had (very) recently went and had an eye exam (in a mall location) and was treated with urgency, and the results were still very blurry vision (even with a new prescription.) I was frustrated and thought maybe I was going blind- that's when I decided, I was tired of not being able to see and, I wanted Lasik so I called Wang Vision. They were able to schedule a consultation within days. I was then able to have my SMILE lasik the same day (as my consultation), so no stress or high anxiety of waiting for weeks. The staff from start to finish were all very nice, extra accommodating, and very thorough. When they performed my eye exam, I was seeing (with glasses) 20/300. My prescription was 2 points off. (The mall exam did not perform a thorough exam and gave me a bad prescription). What a difference clear vision makes, and without foggy glasses!!! This truly was a life changing experience that I wish I had done sooner. The procedure was simple, quick and literally painless. I even went back to work the very next day. I could not be happier with my experience at Wang Vision Institute! The staff was personable, knowledgeable, and made me feel confident that my vision was a priority to them. Dr. Frankel performed my SMILE surgery and both he and the staff calmed my nerves and were so kind. Basically as soon as I sat up from the table, I was able to see, and my vision has improved daily since the day of surgery (3 days ago now). My prescription with contacts was a -5.75 .... I couldn't function without them, and now I am driving and doing normal activities with NO glasses or contacts. I went back for my follow up today and I now have 20/20 vision (cue the tears of joy). I made an appointment with Ming Wang Institute to find out my options for lasik. My prescription was very strong…-6 something. I can’t remember a time when I could see without glasses. Cr wanted to have this done for so long. When I made my appointment, they Indicated I could possibly have surgery the same day. That was exactly what happened. Absolutely phenomenal experience when I received SMILE surgery in 2021. My vision had been really bad my entire life, something like 20/400, but within minutes of the procedure I was already around 20/20! The next day I was definitely at 20/20 and after just one month the side-affect I have is a little dry-eye after staring at a computer screen all day for work, which will likely reside after I fully heal. Wang vision changed my life! Back in January I went in hoping to get Lasik. After my I total exam I was regretfully informed that due to my high prescription I wouldn’t not be a candidate for Lasik. This was disappointing as I had saved the money and was ready to pull the trigger on this procedure. After asking what else could be done, Dr. Koch recommended another option. She said to make Lasik possible they needed to correct my refractive lenses. After those were corrected my new prescription would make me eligible for Lasik. She explained that this was a larger procedure and that the oral process would take about 6 months. I decided to follow through with this option and set the date. I received Refractive Lens Exchange surgery in both eyes from Dr. Frenkel in February 2021 this procedure is exactly the same as a standard cataracts procedure except I didn’t have cataracts). They replaced my existing lenses with artificial ones that would improve my vision. Three months later in May of 2021 I received a YAG procedure on both eyes. (This is where they removed the scar tissue from the last procedure. This is extremely common and took less than 15 minutes. It required no sedation and was done in their normal office in Nashville. This was also performed by Dr. Frenkel. Then three months after that (August 2021) I **FINALLY** got the Lasik procedure done in both eyes! (Dr. Frenkel again.) This was a journey, a process and at times a headache (the constant eye drops after each procedure lol). But let me tell you, I am now SEEING 20/20!!! Even as I type this I am using nothing but my eyeballs! No glasses or contacts! I have never in my entire life been without corrective lenses. Before my procedures I was in thick glasses or contacts to be able to do anything! I simply cannot explain how amazing it is to be free from that! If you are anything like myself, and you are considering this path as you weren’t eligible for the standard Lasik procedure itself I recommend that you DO IT! This was simply one of the best decisions of my life. Wang vision changed my life. They held my hand through the whole process and in the end I received the results I had been hoping for! Thank you Wang vision and thank you Jesus for the success and good results I’ve received! I’m beyond words! Pro tips: * Do the “A” plan. It’s cheaper in the long run and it’s very reassuring to have! * Don’t overthink it. The difference between this process and simply coming in for a Lasik procedure is that your progress takes much longer. Trust the process. Based on the character I believe this business holds, they wouldn’t recommend a procedure that you wouldn’t benefit from. * If you can pay cash do so! They offer a great discount for it! More

After 25 years of strongly depending on glasses and contacts, I can see without them at all! My husband found Wang Vision Institute through an internet search, and we were super impressed by their quality and sincerity. Everyone at the office is genuinely helpful. Dr. Zimmerman is really great and clearly explained my options. Because if my bad eyes (prescription of -10 and -9 in contacts), they recommended a newer procedure called SMILE. I had my 3D SMILE procedure done on Sept 25. First, everyone in the office was kind and accommodating. I have a family history of ocular issues (maternal grandmother with glaucoma and macular degeneration) so I had a lot of questions for Dr. Connolly during the evaluation. She answered each question and also pulled up the latest research on line regarding my questions so I could see it for myself. I was seeking opinions regarding Laser correction surgery and laser correction of black floaters in my eye. Dr. Connolly was honest in telling my that no laser correction could be done on the kind of black floaters I had, and that it would not be wise if anyone offered to correct them as they could damage my lens. I so appreciated this evaluation, and felt completely comfortable having a procedure here. Dr. Wang did my procedure and thoroughly walked me through each step. I was understandably nervous but was reassured and coached during the entire procedure, which was only about 10min its entirety. At my 24hr appointment I was seeing 20/20 and my vision continued to get clearer over the following two weeks as expected. My advice would be to have your laser procedure done by Wang Vision and to use all drops as prescribed. I am so glad I did 3D SMILE, seeing without glasses in the morning, while swimming, and doing yoga has been a true gift. Thank You! More

Rather than having you read about my entire great experience and then give my overall summary, I'll get straight to the point upfront. Yesterday afternoon, I had the SMILE procedure done on both eyes by Dr Wang. The following morning (today), I went back in for a post-op follow-up and both eyes are now a perfect 20/20 - in less than 24 hours! What an awesome experience! SMILE definitely made me smile! Now for background. I'm 45/m and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a teenager. Several years ago, my vision stabilized in both eyes at -4.75 (nearsighted). I finally felt that the time was right, to look into the options of Lasik surgery. Of course, Dr Wang was my only consideration. I arrived at Dr Wang's office and was treated so very well by all staff and doctors. I was given the expected vision tests and then told my options for correction. After careful consideration, I decided to go with SMILE. At that point, I was taken to surgery where I was placed on the operating table and prepped. Dr Wang then came into the room and introduced himself. First thing he immediately asked me to do, was close my eyes...and then he initiated a prayer over us! WOW!! Dr Wang started on my right eye first, and the procedure for my left eye went exactly the same. During the surgery Dr Wang and his staff were in constant communication with me. They guided me verbally thru the entire process...telling me what I was about to see and feel, asked how I was doing, paced my breathing, and they gave me a countdown of when certain tasks were being completed. I cannot give enough gratitude for that. I was literally in one of the most vulnerable moments in my life, and to have all their reassuring voices there to guide me, helped make it so much more comfortable. Dr Wang is truly amazing. I have NEVER been treated so well as a patient anywhere. Later that evening after the surgery, Dr Wang personally called me to check in, see how I was doing, and he reiterated how well the surgery went. How many Doctors do that?! Dr Wang is sincere, humble, and truly appreciates being able to help people. I just want to conclude, by saying once more, how much I appreciate everyone there. I have worn glasses/contacts for over 30 years. Up until now, eye doctors told me that I was not a candidate for vision correction due to very high myopia (nearly -10), scleral buckle, and multiple retinal detachments. After a lot of research, I decided to send Dr. Wang’s office an email to explain my situation. Surprisingly, Dr. Wang himself responded! We continued a conversation through email that convinced me to visit his office in Nashville. From the time I arrived to the completion of my surgery, the staff was amazing! LASIK surgery update : I can see!! 🎉Yesterday’s appointment with Wang Vision Institute was eye opening! Literally! We were told by friends that it would take minutes but my vision was so bad (-7 in one eye and -6 in the other) that it did not. I was treated differently. Some places probably wouldn’t have had the technology or skill to work on me. We are thankful for @wangvisionlasik that they could. The staff were thorough because this is my vision we were talking about. Only the best for Dr. Wang and you can tell that by his staff! •••••LASIK surgery part: Dr. Wang introduced himself to me as I was laying on the table with eyes closed and hovered over my right ear and I hear a sweet prayer coming from him - he immediately prayed over the operation & me and in Jesus’ name! Wow! The LASIK surgery part was handled by Dr. Frenkal with Dr. Wang by his side, coaching, encouraging the entire time. Yesterday afternoon, I had the SMILE procedure done on both eyes by Dr Wang. The following morning (today), I went back in for a post-op follow-up and both eyes are now a perfect 20/20 - in less than 24 hours! What an awesome experience! SMILE definitely made me smile!Now for background. I'm 45/m and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a teenager. Several years ago, my vision stabilized in both eyes at -4.75 (nearsighted). I finally felt that the time was right, to look into the options of Lasik surgery. Dr. Connolly and other personnel did multiple eye exams which were cross referenced to avoid any mistakes and all were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Wang makes sure you make an informed decision and the procedure only takes a few minutes once started. I had 3D LASIK done on the same day that I went in for an evaluation, the next day I had 15/20 vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute. I knew that thing they handed me at the end didn't feel like a pillow and had legs on it. More

I am a month out of mono vision lasik surgery and my eyesight is conti uing to improve. Dr Wang was very good at describing the process and James was wonderful in the surgery room making me feel comfortable and less afraid. If not for the care I received from the Staff at Dr. Ming Wang's Vision Center I would probably be blind. They discovered my eye was hemorrhaging from untreated glaucoma. I had LASIK surgery with Dr Wang on July 23,2001. Prior to this procedure I was very near sighted and had worn glasses since 2nd grade. For a couple of years prior to this I had started wearing bifocal glasses to read and work on the computer. I was so near sighted that when I traveled and stayed in a hotel I had to careful when I took my glasses off at night because I could not find them in the morning by sight but found them by feeling around on the night stand. Now 17 years later I still do not need glasses for distance viewing but have started wearing cheaters for reading. I can not say enough good things about Dr Wang and how he has changed my life. Hi this is Casey McCasland here, I am writing this review for my good friend Dr. Ming Wang and all the staff at the Wang Vision 3D Cataract & Lasik Center. I have been seeing Dr. Wang for the past three years for my vision in one way or the other and have been very happy with everything they do. I was seeing other doctor’s about my vision, but they all said there was nothing to be done about it and I would have to live with it. But God showed me another way, I was looking on the internet and Dr. Wang’s web page just popped up and as I read about he not only was he a world renowned Doctor and Surgeon but for most he was a Christen. I called Dr. Wang’s office and got appointment right away and they was wonderful about everything. First it was the scaring on my cornea that he did the PTK surgery and cleared my vision. It was like night and day with my vision I was so happy. But then about a month ago my vision got cloudy overnight and the only person that I wanted to look at my eye was my friend Dr. Wang. In life there is trials that we all must go through and life had just thrown me another one. When I seen Dr. Wang he said that it was a cataract that was clouding my vision. But, he told me not to worry the good Lord and him would take care of me. He told me about the New 3D Cataract Laser Surgery that only he performs here would be what we would do. We schedule my surgery for the next week and helped me prepare for it. During the surgery Dr. Wang was having a hard time seeing the cataract due to the old scaring on my cornea. But, he and I prayed a prayer, then he removed the cataract with God’s help guiding his hands and the rest went great. I have been improving a little every day, the Lord blessed me when I found Dr. Wang. The night after the surgery my phone rang at 10 pm and when I answered it my friend Dr. Wang was on the other end, checking on how I was doing. Dr. Wang performed my incredible LASIK surgery 16 years ago and I wanted him to do my cataract surgery when it became necessary. Last Thursday Dr. Wang performed 3D Laser cataract surgery implanting his "Forever Young Lenses" in my left eye. There was no pain and his professional staff were wonderful. I am a 62 year old patient of Dr. Ming Wang of Nashville. My vision has declined both near and far over the past few years. Dr. Wang performed 3D LASIK on March 18, 2016. By the next day, everything was crystal clear. I still will need reading glasses at times due to a bad astigmatism. The procedure was painless and only took 1 hour from the time I walked in until I left the building. A person's eyesight is essential and I can't say enough good comments about Dr. Wang and his staff, all very professional. I was very impressed with Dr. Wang and his staff. I had the 3D Lasik Surgery and was very pleased with the results. I was able to read without having to use my glasses right after my suregey. This surgery will change the quality of my life tremendously. I am an avid hunter and it was very difficult to shoot a gun with glasses. From the moment, I walked into Dr. Wang's office I was treated like royalty. All of his staff are so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I had a great experience at Wang vision institute. Dr. Wang was very informative about the different options for my far sighted vision. Granted I am a 52 year old woman with very poor vision that other doctors would not even attempt to fix. I was told by all the doctors that my vision could not be fixed and I would have to just get used to wearing glasses, so I did. I found out about Dr. Wang on Facebook and decided to attend a seminar. I had my lasik procedure done the next day. He is a very down to earth man that takes very good care of his patients. He prayed with me before the surgery and my vision after the surgery was remarkable. I had been wearing glasses for almost my entire life. I had worn glasses since 1975. But after having LASIK in 2000 when I was 33 years old, I was amazed at how wonderful the world was without glasses. Fast forward to 2012, and my mid-40s, and those ugly glasses came charging back into my life in the form of "reading glasses". After looking around at options, I gave into the bondage of glasses once again. This week however, I found out about Dr. Wang's KAMRA corneal inlay procedure....that I could read up close again without glasses, and not sacrifice my long range LASIK sharpness. I had the procedure Friday, and am so excited. Dr. Wang and staff were very helpful and professional. My Experience LASIK 3D I called Wang Vision for lasik the new 3d lasik, the lady i spoke with was nice.I saw in the local paper there was a seminar, I went learned a lot about my particular procedure. I am 24 and I cant see far away so distance is my problem i was a -3.75 had to have glasses at all times even to watch tv or read the clock in the morning I also had a stigmatism i saw some things double vision or blurred to best describe little did i know my eye Dr Wang said there like a football is what a Stigmatism looks like in your eye.during the seminar Dr. Wang was there and got to meet the famous Wang himself not only is he a good Dr. hes a special man that god has blessed us with learned alot about his background which was hard in such a young life which he had great parents that were both smart doctors which made another great doctor.He talked about how he has helped even the blind be able to see a little from seeing black to seeing her face for the first time. So dont think your eyes cant be done. Wang helps people that truly needs it like blind orphans Thats one of the main reasons i went with Wang not only is he a great Dr. he has a heart of gold. My appointment went good every staff member he has was nice, a lot of places you go there is usually a couple that are so rude. They test you like a normal eye exam i was able to get lasik done they will tell you that day or your choice of getting it done the day of. you cant wear contacts for a week before surgery.You get medicine to calm your nerves, Dr Wang will pray on you and talk you through the whole surgery he will let you know what he is doing you wont feel anything but a little pressure it takes about 20 mins and you walk out after i got to my hotel i put the eye drops in and my eyes started feeling less dry i could see as if i was wearing my glasses right after i got up from the chair its truly amazing.you need to close your eyes and sleep after the surgery it heals when you wake up.The next morning i went back So Wang could check my eyes he said they look great, my eyes were red which is normal it was from the suction cup during the surgery it didnt hurt during the surgery just red after.Now i am on the 3rd day my eyes are still red but getting better, some peoples eyes clear right up the next day. You just have to use eye drops. ALL my stress about lasik and the laser its nothing to stress about at all!I know my review was long but these were my questions i had and i wish someone had posted this so i would know I wouldnt go any where but Wang Vision he will take care of my eyes for the rest of my life Thanks Dr Wang Very blessed that God sent me to the best. I was compelled to believe I would have to spend the rest of my life wearing glasses. My vision had gotten so bad; first I lost my close up vision, then my far vision. It was to the point that, in order for me to see the signs on the interstate, I had to be right on top of them and by that time it was too late, another missed turn. After years of fighting with glasses slipping off my face, not being able to find my glasses, without my glasses, broken glasses all the time, buying over the counter readers constantly, always seeing halos around lights, starburst, floaters, double vision at times, having to have readers and a magnifying glass, just to be able to read, I felt I was just doomed to live this way. Then I saw a commercial with Dr. Ming Wang, I researched him for years before taking the final step and attending one of his seminars. I am so glad I did. He gave me the confidence I needed to have the 3D Laser Forever Young Lens cataract surgery. Dr. Wang treats his patients with care, concern, compassion and kindness and your vision is as important to him as it is to you. He has restored the vision of “To see again” to many people, young and old, throughout the world. While it has only been a few days since the surgery on my right eye, I can tell my vision is getting better every day and I am looking forward to having my left eye done in the next few days. I know he is the most skilled in this area of surgery than anyone I have researched. Dr. Wang said a prayer before the procedure, because he knows God guides him. He talked with me during the procedure which helped and then, the procedure was complete, over and done with, before you know it, the procedure was very quick and painless. Dr. Wang, himself, called after the surgery to see how I was doing, instead of his staff, this tells me he is concerned for me. On the day after my surgery, I was able to drive myself, 80 miles, to Dr. Wang's office for a post op follow up. It's hard to believe that less than 48 hours ago I to rely on contacts or glasses to get through the day. After being referred to the Wang Vision Institute (WVI) by a friend who previously had a procedure there, I decided to investigate further and I'm certainly glad I did. I researched multiple LASIK providers in the Nashville area, setting up evaluations and reading online reviews. After everything, WVI stood out as the best. My initial evaluation was very comprehensive and the staff was well practiced, answering all my questions. I also attended one of the seminars to learn more about the different procedures offered and was impressed with Dr. Wang's background. His life story of perseverance and faith gave me the confidence that if someone was going to operate on my eyes, I wanted it to be him. His credentials are outstanding and it is evident that he has a passion for what he does. I could not be more happy with Dr. Wang and the Wang Vision Institute, after receiving the 3D lasik surgery. Everyone who worked there were as kind and welcoming as possible. While any surgery can be a bit nerve racking they made it as comfortable as possible. The actual surgery could not have gone better. Right before the surgery my good eye was double what qualifies as legally blind. The very next day I had 20/20 vision, and Dr. Wang said it will only get better as my eyes continue heal. A day after the surgery my eyes were already comfortable. I would say they felt 99% comfortable by 7:00 AM the next morning. I received 3D LASIK from Dr. Wang and his staff; they were thorough, trustworthy, and courteous. I attended one of their seminars and received extensive information on Dr. Wang and the procedures offered; I signed up for a consultation that day.On the day of the consultation/procedure, I went through a comprehensive eye exam and was informed that I was a good candidate for LASIK. After an hour or two of waiting, I then had my procedure done. I was somewhat nervous, but it was all in all painless and did not last longer than thirty minutes, if not fifteen.After keeping my eyes closed that day and a night sleep, I woke up with perfect vision except for the slight blurriness. My follow-up appointment the day after the procedure ensured that it was successful, and I am now putting drops in for the next couple of weeks to avoid dry eyes and help the healing process.All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Wang. He has an astoundingly impressive resume and is a kind person. I felt confident in the 3D LASIK procedure because it was bladeless and guaranteed to be precise. The results met every expectation that I had and I cannot be more thankful. The only complaint I have is that the wait to get the procedure was somewhat long. I am reaching way back for this one to the time that Dr. Wang was with Vanderbilt. Several decades of my life were spent with terrible nearsightedness and astigmatism. It was so bad that if I woke up in the night to go to the bathroom, the first thing I went for was my glasses. The lenses were so thick that I was embarrased to be seen. I figured the chance of Lasik was slim to none. That is until I went in for an evaluation with Dr. Wang. I was amazed at his empathy toward my situation and the gentleness with which he told me that he could help me. Just after having 3D Lasik by DR. Ming Wang, I’m seeing better than 20/20. When numerous other eye doctors said I wasn’t a candidate for Lasik. As a former military pilot of 30 years having eye surgery was not an easy decision to make. Dr. Wang’s staff did an excellent job explaining each step of the procedure. At 62 years of age, my vision had decreased both in distance and near vision. Dr. Wang performed 3D LASIK and by follow-up appointment the next day, my vision was crystal clear outside my reach of my hand. Dr. Wang explained that my near vision was not as sharp due to a bad astigmatism in my left eye, which had been my worst eye my entire life. I can't find words appropriate for my experience and the way I was taken care of with Dr. Wang and his staff, aside to say that I could not have been more pleased and impressed. He and his staff have forever raised the standard and my outlook on Doctors. I have had terrible vision almost my entire life. I was nearly blind without my contacts or glasses and using them was getting harder for an unknown reason to me. God opened a door for me and gave me an opportunity to speak with and see Dr. Wang and after testing was found to have a dry eye condition to go along with my decreased vision which was worsening my other problems. Dr. Wang personally assured me that he would take care of me and pre-op when the staff took my glasses, the smile they gave when they assured me that I wouldn't be needing those anymore was very promising. I was so moved by not only the entire staff but by Dr. Ming Wang himself, who even came to my table as I was being prepped and prayed with me prior to surgery. Dr. Ming Wang was recommended as a cataract surgeon by my Primary Care physician, and I'm so grateful he did. Dr. Wang removed the cataract from my left eye 3 days ago, and will do my right eye in 4 days. I dread any kind of surgery, but this went so well! It's hard to believe that less than 48 hours ago I to rely on contacts or glasses to get through the day. After being referred to the Wang Vision Institute (WVI) by a friend who previously had a procedure there, I decided to investigate further and I'm certainly glad I did. I researched multiple LASIK providers in the Nashville area, setting up evaluations and reading online reviews. After everything, WVI stood out as the best. I was told be three well renowned Lasik surgeons over the last five years that I would likely never be a candidate for any laser corrective surgery due to my extremely high level of astigmatism. After my eye exam with them, they all gave me the same speech: "Unfortunately we have some bad news. You aren't a good candidate for Lasik or PRK." I've been in glasses/contacts since I was in kindergarten and until yesterday, my vision was 20/400. If you've ever had an eye exam, you know what 20/400 is if you can barely only see the huge big letter. I had lost all hope of being able to see again without glasses or contacts until I heard about Dr. Wang. I could not be more happy with Dr. Wang and the Wang Vision Institute, after receiving the 3D lasik surgery. Everyone who worked there were as kind and welcoming as possible. While any surgery can be a bit nerve racking they made it as comfortable as possible. The actual surgery could not have gone better. Right before the surgery my good eye was double what qualifies as legally blind. The very next day I had 20/20 vision, and Dr. Wang said it will only get better as my eyes continue heal. A day after the surgery my eyes were already comfortable. I would say they felt 99% comfortable by 7:00 AM the next morning. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute to anyone who is considering any type of eye surgery. More
Overall I'm glad I selected Dr. Wang. The process was very scary for me. I was even scared during the procedure, but it didn't hurt. I have no pain and I can see just one day later. I would have liked to have felt more calm during the procedure, but it went so fast that I never had time to fully compose myself. Maybe that's a good thing? All-in-all, he really knows what he's doing. And the laser they use is the same one used by the US military for LASIK. Yes the military allows LASIK now. How cool! More

From the time you sign in, to the time you finally leave, everything is pretty top notch and aggressive sales. I went through several tests and about 3-4 different people that moved me through the system of testing, evaluating and pricing. Everyone was pleasant, first class, professional, and they know their jobs. Each one had a job to move you through the process of getting tested and getting signed up for surgery. I don't move that fast. I am thrifty. I like to read, research, compare... After my exam, I requested copies of all my test results. I got a prescription for eyeglasses and I got copies of all the tests they took. I paid for them. They are mine to do what I want. You see the commercials, you read about people who get eye surgery and you wonder if you are a candidate. They will take all kinds of tests and then give you the results. Dr. Ming Wang is a God given! He is so compassionate about his work and his patients!. I had 3D forever young lasik surgery on my left eye on Tues, July 28 and on my right eye, Thurs. July 30, 2015, Dr. Wang is very thorough about explaining the procedure and he never uses a blade! The procedure was not painful..no headaches, no problems! His staff at his ofc and surgery center are awesome. As they prepare you for your surgery they talk to you and make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Wang is so humble..he bows down and laid his hand on my head and prays to God for a safe and successful surgery! wow..what a blessing! Every single person at Wang Vision Institute is amazing!! I loved my experience there. I just had 3D Bladeless LASIK surgery yesterday and can already see with 20/20 vision. It's crazy because I used to have an astigmatism and -6.00 in my left eye, and -5.75 in my right eye.. so now to see perfectly, it's such a BLESSING. I am amazed by my experience and am still overwhelmed. Without my contacts or glasses I was unable to see 3 feet in front of my face. The eye chart for me was a joke. The "BIG E" was just a big blur. I had my surgery yesterday and woke up this morning with 20/25 and 20/30 vision and it's only getting better! Tears of pure joy ran down my face as i opened my eyes and saw my husbands face for the first time in the morning light. I no longer have the constant worry of an emergency happening and I am unable to find my glasses. I no longer have the fear that a contact might fall out and having to always carry extras, along with drops and solution. The staff was wonderful, caring, and so very patient. They talked me thru every step of the process, calmed all my fears, and treated me as a friend. Dr. Wang was there every step of the way! I had 3D bladeless lasik surgery less than 24 hours ago with Dr. Ming Wang and it is simply amazing! I wish I had done this sooner. My contacts prescription was -6.50 before the procedure - this morning when I went for my f/u appointment, I have 20/25 vision! It will improve even more over the next few weeks. I am in awe at what I can see now without the assistance from glasses or contacts - I woke up this morning and looked around and was excited about what all I could see in detail that I couldn't see before i reached for my glasses. I had 3D LASIK surgery on Friday. My experience has been awesome! I can not say enough great things about the staff at Wang Vision Institute. They took really great care of me. I have had glasses since I was 3 years old. My eyes were extremely farsighted with bad astigmatisms. Every doctor I had seen told me I would never be a candidate for LASIK surgery. Dr. Wang is the only doctor that could do my surgery. A day post surgery, I am seeing 20/25. My eyes are still healing at the moment, so hopefully in a couple of months I will be a normal 20/20 or even better! Yesterday morning I couldn't see well enough to even find my glasses when I woke up because of how extreme my far sightedness was. Yesterday afternoon Dr. Wang prayed over me and asked God to bless the surgery he was about to perform. After the surgery he told me that far sightedness is difficult to correct but that God had been with us throughout the surgery. That night, Dr. Wang called to check on me. This morning I woke up to a whole new world. Less than 24 hours after 3D LASIK surgery I am seeing 20/30 in my right eye and 20/25 in my left. As the week goes on I should progress to 20/20 - an outcome I didn't believe was possible. 99% of surgeons could not do what Dr. Wang did. I can't find words appropriate for my experience and the way I was taken care of with Dr. Wang and his staff, aside to say that I could not have been more pleased and impressed. He and his staff have forever raised the standard and my outlook on Doctors. I have had terrible vision almost my entire life. I was nearly blind without my contacts or glasses and using them was getting harder for an unknown reason to me. It is truly liberating and life changing to begin each day without the need of glasses or contacts for the first time since I was five years old. Dr. Wang and his entire staff are professional, kind and informative. They went out of their way to reassure me, answer my questions and make me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I learned that I have steep corneas that would require PRK instead of Lasik I was disappointed and a bit panicked. PRK sounded more painful and would require a longer recovery time, neither of which I'd planned for. Erika, my coordinator, took the initiative to speak to Dr. Wang and have him review my test results. Dr. Wang determined that my corneas were only slightly steep and that I could indeed have 3D Lasik. I had the procedure in the late afternoon and was resting comfortably last night. I woke up this morning and could read the bedside clock. I am typing this without glasses which was IMPOSSIBLE this time yesterday. I feel like the world is much bigger today and I think Dr. Wang and his team. I'm so glad I made the decision to use Wang Vision for my corrective surgery and will refer friends and family as well. I have been wearing contacts and glasses since elementary school around 25-30 years. I no longer have to worry if I would be able to see, if my contacts are going to cause problems, if one falls out, not having my glasses etc. It was a simple painless procedure that took less than 1 min for each eye. I had the 3D Image guided Lasik with Doctor Wang. I have had to wear glasses since I was two years old and thought I would always have too, after a consult with Doctor Wang he said I was a good candidate for the 3D lasik. I received 3D LASIK from Dr. Wang and his staff; they were thorough, trustworthy, and courteous. I attended one of their seminars and received extensive information on Dr. Wang and the procedures offered; I signed up for a consultation that day.On the day of the consultation/procedure, I went through a comprehensive eye exam and was informed that I was a good candidate for LASIK. After an hour or two of waiting, I then had my procedure done. I was somewhat nervous, but it was all in all painless and did not last longer than thirty minutes, if not fifteen.After keeping my eyes closed that day and a night sleep, I woke up with perfect vision except for the slight blurriness. My follow-up appointment the day after the procedure ensured that it was successful, and I am now putting drops in for the next couple of weeks to avoid dry eyes and help the healing process.All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Wang. He has an astoundingly impressive resume and is a kind person. I felt confident in the 3D LASIK procedure because it was bladeless and guaranteed to be precise. The results met every expectation that I had and I cannot be more thankful. The only complaint I have is that the wait to get the procedure was somewhat long. I had worn glasses since 1975. But after having LASIK in 2000 when I was 33 years old, I was amazed at how wonderful the world was without glasses. Fast forward to 2012, and my mid-40s, and those ugly glasses came charging back into my life in the form of "reading glasses". After looking around at options, I gave into the bondage of glasses once again. This week however, I found out about Dr. Wang's KAMRA corneal inlay procedure....that I could read up close again without glasses, and not sacrifice my long range LASIK sharpness. I had 3D Bladeless LASIK with Dr. Wang yesterday, and I can already see as well as I could with glasses or contacts...amazing! First, I cannot possibly say enough good things about Dr. Wang. I started off reading about him online and being simply blown away by his credentials. I knew I wanted to learn more, so I went to his information session, and was chosen for a 50% off coupon, which was obviously huge! I thought I was impressed with his accomplishments before going to this session, but I teared up multiple times seeing his genuine heart for people and the work he's done with orphans and people all over the world. Second, I made my decision to go ahead with the surgery. Everyone in the office was friendly, welcoming and calming. I decided to take the sedative before the surgery and honestly i'm glad I did. For some, it's very uneventful, but for me, I was quite nervous through all of it. That said, Dr. Wang prayed over me beforehand (which, as a Christ follower, was one of the most comforting moments of the day) and then began the surgery. He talked me through it, always communicating what was happening each step of the way. The whole surgery was no more than 10 minutes and that was it! The first night, my eyes stung quite a bit, but after a round of Motrin, it subsided early in the night. I slept through the night, woke up today, and i have 20/20 vision in both eyes! They told me it will continue to improve slightly over the next couple of weeks as well!! My eyes feel a little like I have a piece of dust in them today, but it's very bearable.Would I recommend Dr. Wang? A thousand times over. I don't trust my eyes with any other doctor. I researched LASIK for about 4 years before moving forward and I don't believe there is anyone better in the business or more qualified. Don't wait. Just do it. I have been wanting LASIK for years, but just couldn't pull the trigger. I decided to go to a Wang Vision seminar and was impressed by the Dr. Wang. I could tell he was passionate about vision correction and is on the cutting edge of laser technology. I decided to go ahead with the procedure...Since I live an hour away, I decided to get the evaluation and (hopefully) the procedure in the same day. Sure enough, I was a good candidate. The proof is in the pudding, I suppose, since yesterday morning my vision could not even be measured on the 20/- scale. In that space on my chart, they wrote "CF3," which means "counting fingers at three feet." This morning I woke up and was able to see the faces of my family for the first time without corrective lenses. I was amazed at the crisp detail of my vision and how well my eyes were already healing. I went in for my follow-up exam today, and my vision is now 20/20, though it may get even better over the next few weeks as my eyes continue to heal.Now, you have probably figured out that you will pay more for Dr. Wang's services than you will at other laser vision providers. This is not because of hype. It's because he is the best of the best. He is so far ahead of the curve on these technologies that there is really no comparison. We had to do a lot of financial shuffling to make it work, but we believe what we were effectively paying for was a significantly increased risk of a great outcome. To use a sports analogy that will show my age, a lot of people can play basketball. Not everyone is Michael Jordan.Some helpful info to consider:-I chose to do a consultation and, if it was determined I was a candidate, have the procedure same-day. From what I understand, this is only done on Fridays. You can expect it to take up the whole day. We were not uncomfortable at all, but it would be a good idea to bring snacks and/or pack a lunch if you choose to go this route because you probably won't feel like eating after the procedure.-Each and every member of the staff was kind and genuine, took time to address all questions and concerns I (or my husband) had, and made me feel safe and comfortable.-I rejected the offer of a sedative before the procedure and was totally fine. Very professional atmosphere, quick with the paper work, will help finance, does a very thorough assessment for 3D Lasik, and preforms the surgery as one of the best if not the best. The cost may seem a little pricey, but once you take into account the level of experience, cutting edge technology, and the thorough level of testing that is given it is worth the money. My personal experience with him was coming in to see if I was a good candidate, letting him review the test results (some done over twice, three, even four times just to make sure I was getting the best treatment), and then having the surgery the same day. I have had glasses or contacts since I was in the second grade. Now at age 25, I was told I was a perfect candidate for LASIK surgery. I chose Dr. Wang due to hearing so many good things about his practice, and I was not disappointed! He did great and they gladly answered all my questions. The nurses really know how to calm you down if you start to get nervous. I really appreciate them counting down during the surgery as well as the prayer said beforehand. The only downside I had was that I was told it would be a 2-3 hour process. I arrived at 2PM and left at 6:30 PM and was the last patient to leave. More
I was not considering having 3D Lasik performed until my best friend did. Her surgery went very well and she has 20/20 vision. After wearing glasses since in the middle school, I was ready for the procedure. I would not have gone anywhere else. Even my God parents come to Dr. Wang. He performs the only 3D Lasik procedure that is bladeless in TN. My surgery was in a matter of minutes. I could even see right after surgery, but it is important to keep the eyes closed for the healing process. Dr. Ming Wang is a God given! He is so compassionate about his work and his patients!. I had 3D forever young lasik surgery on my left eye on Tues, July 28 and on my right eye, Thurs. July 30, 2015, Dr. Wang is very thorough about explaining the procedure and he never uses a blade! The procedure was not painful..no headaches, no problems! His staff at his ofc and surgery center are awesome. As they prepare you for your surgery they talk to you and make sure you are comfortabl...e. Dr. Wang is so humble..he bows down and laid his hand on my head and prays to God for a safe and successful surgery! wow..what a blessing! Within 21 hrs after the surgery my eye was clear, no hazy, cloudy vision, no halos..I could see clear! What an exciting moment! I could even text and read without my glasses! Dr. Wang and his entire staff are professional, kind and informative. They went out of their way to reassure me, answer my questions and make me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I learned that I have steep corneas that would require PRK instead of Lasik I was disappointed and a bit panicked. PRK sounded more painful and would require a longer recovery time, neither of which I'd planned for. Erika, my coordinator, took the initiative to speak to Dr. Wang and have him review my test results. Dr. Wang determined that my corneas were only slightly steep and that I could indeed have 3D Lasik. I had the procedure in the late afternoon and was resting comfortably last night. I woke up this morning and could read the bedside clock. I am typing this without glasses which was IMPOSSIBLE this time yesterday. I feel like the world is much bigger today and I think Dr. Wang and his team. I'm so glad I made the decision to use Wang Vision for my corrective surgery and will refer friends and family as well. Less than thirteen hrs ago I underwent 3D Lasik with the only center in TN to do the procedure. Words can't express my joy and gratitude with not only the results but the entire staff and especially Dr. Wang himself. Such a compassionate man. As I was being prepped for surgery the man came to my table and as I lay there he put his hand to my head and bowed and prayed for and with me to God for a safe and successful procedure. It was all I could do to not cry I was so moved ...and impressed. Dr. Wang also does normal eye care and many other services including cataract involving the 100% blade free all laser surgery. I recommend all my friends and family to see him if you have any questions or have thought about getting any corrective work done. The new 3d offers even great astigmatism correction. You could easily think I'm being biased due to the fact that I am an employee at WVI, but the truth is....The entire staff (I'm speaking as a patient) is INCREDIBLE! I already knew I was in good hands before having my 3D Bladeless LASIK procedure because I have seen Dr. Wang's success rate first hand by working there for the past year. I just had 3D Lasik from Dr. Ming Wang and the Wang Vision Institute. This is Tennessee's only 3D LASIK center and it was a great experience. Dr. Ming Wang has a true passion for the gift of eye sight. I had a complicated far sighted surgery and Dr. Wang fixed it. The staff at WVI was kind and took good care of me. I was an Army medic for 8.5 years and have been a Firefighter for the past 13.5 years. I have fought with wearing glasses and contacts for the past 20 years. I only considered the doctors who got the top referrals and ratings. This was never something I was wanting to get a "good deal" on - I simply wanted the best. Dr. Wang was my choice because:1. He has an excellent educational background (he knows both medicine and lasers.) 2. He's performed many procedures. 3. I figured that he would care about his patients. The last part was important because I didn't want to be just another procedure enabling my doctor to play golf on the weekends. I wanted a doctor who would treat my procedure as important to him. I am so glad I chose Dr. Wang. You can read all about the first two points, so really you probably just want to hear about the third point. I guessed that he would care about his patients because of all of the charity work he does, and my guess was right. Dr. Wang emails and calls his patients personally. His operating assistant walked me back to my hotel lobby (I was in Nashville alone getting lasik.) I received a follow up call the evening of my surgery from him asking if I was ok. Everything went well but I know that if there ever was a complication or if one develops he will be available to help. Since this is my eyesight I'm dealing with that's important to me. Also, it was a wonderful surprise to me to learn about Dr. Wang's faith as a Christian after choosing him purely on the basis of who I thought the best doctor would be. I asked Dr. Wang to pray with me before the surgery and he did. If you want Dr. Wang to operate on you because of his science background that's great. His credentials are there. I was so glad to have both the scientific expertise and God on my side when going through eye surgery. I have no doubt that God was and is watching over my eyes and also over Dr. Wang's work. Regardless of your religious background my recommendation is to go to Dr. Wang for lasik. There are many great doctors and I might have had a great lasik experience elsewhere. However, after years of research it was clear to me that I would be most comfortable trusting my eyesight to Dr. Wang, and I'm so glad I did. More
On Friday, I went into Wang Vision Institute for my consultation to possibly get the 3D Bladeless LASIK procedure; I found out that I was a good candidate. My right eye was 20/200 and my left eye was 20/400, so my vision was pretty bad. But, I knew from researching Dr. Wang that he is the best in the business. When it comes to your eye sight (which is of the utmost importance) you want to go to the best doctor possible for correction. Dr. Ming Wang certainly has a track record that speaks for itself. Dr. Wang and the staff were wonderfully supportive of my anxiety about getting this procedure done. After their comforting and reassurance, I was ready. I went into surgery and was out about 10 minutes later. It was totally painless. I could actually already tell that my vision had already improved when I sat up due to everything in the room not being blurry (there was a cloudiness at first but that's gone now). I have been making sure to follow Dr. Wang's post-op orders. Today, I went in for my follow up and my right eye is now 20/20; my left eye is 20/30 and my healing is around 60-70% already! I am so happy that I decided to make this investment in myself and what is valuable to me. I am also extremely happy with Dr. Ming Wang and his staff being the ones to get me through this process. I definitely recommend him to anyone that is considering getting this sort of procedure done. More
I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" -- and that is why I knew that I would not be comfortable entrusting my eyesight to just any surgeon. When I started researching LASIK options in Nashville, the Wang Vision Institute came up early as the place that country music celebrities go for LASIK and cataract surgery. To be honest, I was a little turned off from the website -- it is a little overwhelming! But after my consultation with Dr. Wang, I realized that he was the doctor for me. Not only is he passionate about his profession, but he is also into the latest technology. I am a pretty risk-averse person but knew that between Dr. Wang's extensive experience and his 3D bladeless surgical technology, it was the best possible option to correct my nearsightedness (20/400). I won't lie, the procedure was not pleasant -- but it was over in a matter of minutes, and within a few hours I was feeling 100% better with 20/15 vision. I hope my wife is also a good candidate for this procedure! It was a great investment and I am thrilled to be done with glasses and contact lenses. More
I had researched for years about lasik surgery but was too young to have the surgery. This year I decided to research more and I contacted Dr. Wang by email, (October 9th). Dr. Wang and his staff responded the very next day with more information for me and I was able to set up my consultation and eye evaluation (October 24th). The staff were extremely nice, friendly, and professional. The staff even worked with me on pricing that was good for me which I am very thankful for. I was very scared when it was time for the surgery, but knew I was in good hands . I did not mention to any of the staff I am actually very religious, so it was good that Dr.Wang said a short prayer before the surgery. I am very satisfied with my vision as of October 25th & is hoping it will improve as the healing continues. Very happy I can finally see people's faces when I talk to them and read clearly which I haven't been able to do for years. Thank you Dr. Wang and all the great staff ! The surgery is life changing! I had my 3D LASIK procedure yesterday. The exam was super thorough, which gave me more trust about the procedure. As a cosmetic/general dentist my eyes are my livelihood, and I felt perfectly safe with Dr. Wang and his systems. The actual procedure only lasted 2-3 minutes, I am very pleased with my results. More
