I had cataract surgery three weeks today. I am 47 and my prediction glasses were 12.75. My eyes continue to get nearsighted every year since I was 5 years old. Dr Wang performed cataract surgery and was able to fix my astigmatism and all of the floaters. Other doctors would not operate even though my sight was poor with corrective glasses. This was a very scary experience because I have been told my entire life surgery would be very risky. Dr Wang gave me an immediate sigh of relief when he explained with confidence that he was capable of doing my surgery so I could see again. My sight today is 20/15 and Dr Wang changed my life. Yesterday I was incredibly nearsighted with my prescriptions being at the very edge of what lasik can treat, I walked into wang vision institute expecting to be told that I wasn’t a good candidate. I walked out with no glasses. Today I went to the department of safety, took the eye test and had the corrective lens requirement removed from my license! The staff at Wang vision institute are amazing. They are all friendly, professional and caring. Dr Wang took the time to ex...plain the procedure before hand and talked me through it. The procedure was quick, there was only a mild feeling of pressure and even post op my eyes have just felt mildly dry.
