I could not be happier with my decision to choose Wang Vision Institute for cataract removal. From the office staff to the vision experts who ran the tests on my eyes to Dr. Guduru who performed my surgery, I can't imagine going anywhere else for my vision care. I would 100% recommend! The staff and doctors are very professional and personable. They really listen to what is going on with your sight as an individual. Their knowledge and technology are state of the art and current. They are so detailed with the evaluation process of your eyes. Without divulging all the details, I was loosing sight in my right eye. My prescription was maxed out to as good as it could be and my right eye was only worsening. My livelihood requires I see well because I’m reading on the computer all day. Amazing experience! Just like you who is reading this I was very nervous about my visit. I read the great reviews and being the skeptical person I am took the positive things I read about Wang with a grain of salt. I was scheduled for a Lasik consultation and surgery the same day as long as everything checks out well. The staff was unbelievable. Scott did my preliminary evaluations and was just a blast of positive energy. He really made my nerves go away and brightened up my day both the day of my operation and post op check up. Dr.Guduru did my surgery and also carries himself with an amazing energy. He did a fantastic job, I now have 20/15 vision. I am about 30 hours post op and aside from slightly dry eyes this is just unbelievable. From walking in, to surgery, to post op, everyone was fantastic. If you are on the fence I highly recommend seeing them for a consultation and making a decision from there. I had an amazing experience with Wang Vision. My coordinator Cameron Daniels was very thorough in explaining the whole process ahead of time and addressing any concerns. My surgeon Dr. Jones was very quick and professional and checked my eyes multiple times after to make sure everything was okay. I was convinced I would mess it up but I felt reassured the whole time. Even the front desk was so kind to check on me and staff floating around gave me fist bumps and encouragement during a sort of uneasy procedure! Would for sure recommend to a friend. More

I am resending it via Google as a review of my experience with your outstanding Ophthalmology practice. _______________________________________________________________ Dear Dr. Wang, I do not expect you to remember me, but I worked with you as a Circulating/Pre-Op Nurse when you were still doing procedures at the Oral Surgery Institute at 500 28th Ave North in Nashville in I believe 2010-2011. While my time there was somewhat brief, and unfortunately unpleasant, my finest memories while there were of working with you, and your patients. I never forgot how you always prayed with your patients before you began, and how kind, pleasant, courteous, and considerate you were to everyone that worked with you. You were also particularly kind and encouraging to me, praising my work to my supervisor, for the manner in which I cared for your patients before and after surgery, something that I never forgot. When I left my employment there I made a promise to myself, that if I ever had the means to have surgery on my eyes, (my vision has always been poor, and cataracts, the bane of aging as of the last few years.) that I would have it done by you. Just had my SMILE procedure done at Wang Vision Institute yesterday 07/10/24. And it is incredible how quickly my eyes are healing and vision is improving! I had my post-op appointment today and I am already seeing 20/20 less than 24 hours after surgery! The surgery was done by Dr. Guduru. He did a great job. He was very calm and gave great instructions of what to do during surgery. I highly recommend him. The surgery was intense and definitely not something I want to do everyday haha, but Dr. Guduru did a fantastic job. Gabby was with me for most of the day before my surgery doing eye tests and talking me through what the day would look like. She also assisted Dr. Guduru during surgery. She has a beautiful personality and is an incredible sweet and genuine woman. She helped make my experience better. I also saw Dr. Zimmerman for my consultation before surgery. It took me almost 20 years to get my eyes corrected just because I am very frightened of eyes surgery. However, I’m very glad and thankful that I chose Wang Vision Institute for my eyes surgery. I just got SMILE surgery done 4 days ago by Dr. Guduru who is very knowledgeable and excellent at what he is doing. Also, Nurse Gabby is very friendly and helpful with calming me through the surgery. My son was turned away by a different Lasik doctor. After doing research and finding a doctor who handles cases with extremely bad vision, Wang Vision Institute told me that they would be able to help my son. Everyone in the office was very professional and helpful. Dr. Zimmerman was very knowledgeable and explained in detail the process. Since my son's vision was poor, he showed him that there was a chance of only getting 75% vision of what his current glasses were. We decided to go with the procedure. Cameron, who was the coordinator came in and explained payment process, along with options we had. Again, we were happy with pricing and decided to continue with surgery. Karen cleaned my son's eyes and then helped him to the surgery room. Dr. Jones was very patient with my son and did an excellent job performing the Lasik surgery. After 3 days, my son went back and his results were AMAZING. 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in the other. It will get even better as the eyes fully heal!!! More

Amazing results and an incredible experience. As an EMS Helicopter Pilot my vision directly affects the safety of my crew and the patients we carry. When I began noticing vision problems (cataracts) that were reaching the limit of what my glasses could correct I began looking for options. After speaking with several people in the medical field and other pilots, the clear choice (pun intended) was Wang Vision Institute. Time was of the essence because I was not going to be able to fly once I got the process started and they were able to get me in for an exam and scheduled my surgery almost immediately. I believe it was Scott that performed my initial exam and you couldn’t ask for a nicer guy. Very patient and willing to answer all of my questions. Most of which were “what does that thingy do?” After my initial assessment I met with Dr Zimmerman who explained all of their findings to me and made sure I understood my condition and what my options were. I did not feel that anyone tried to “up-sell” anything or get me to buy anything I didn’t want. As a mater of fact he recommended against the most costly option based on my needs. I knew exactly what I needed and what I was paying for. My lens replacement surgery was performed by Dr Guduru who was more than accommodating and worked with me on scheduling. To say I was nervous was an understatement. The entire staff at the eye surgery clinic put me at ease (the Valium may have helped). Dr Guduru did an excellent job on the surgery and I was amazed at the results only hours after the surgery when the sedative wore off. The worst part of the process was the wait between getting both eyes done. Less than 3 days after having my second eye done, my vision is better now than it has been at any point in my life (20/15). I know results can vary and it is a lot of money to spend but much like a divorce; eye surgery is expensive because it is worth it. More

My experience with the team at Wang has been beyond my expectations! I came in white knuckle nervous because my eyes are extremely sensitive, however everyone was exceptionally kind and thoughtful from the way things were explained to how they actually performed the procedure. I had LASIK done on both eyes and woke up with 20/20 vision the best day! I’ve never been more excited to see the world. I have been in glasses since I was 9 years old and now at almost 27 I can ditch the hassle of wearing glasses. #cataracts #dryeye #IPL My husband and I originally came to see Dr. Wang for cataract surgery - Dr. Wang did the surgery for both of us. He has an exceptional bedside manner and his skillful surgeon's hands have done many an eye surgery. Our new lenses have worked out beautifully. Most recently, we've both been treated for dry eye. I never knew it was an actual affliction, it sounds so Visine-gets-the-red-out kind of problem. But, it's a big problem and it affected our vision, so we highed ourselves back to the Wang Vision Institute. This time, we met Dr. Wysiadlowski ("Dr. Wish") who has introduced to the Wang Institute IPL (intense pulsed light) as a treatment for dry eye and roasacea and hyperpigmentation that also by the way improves the collagen in your skin. Yup. All of that and it's non-invasive. IPL does quite a lot, so you should call them and ask. Also, Wang Vision Institute has a nice range of medical spa procedures. Today was my very last session and I'll still need to go in for annual refreshes. My dry eye is almost cured. I still have to use some prescription drops, but that's an itty bitty inconvenience for the clarity of vision that I now have. Cherry on top is that Dr. Wish is lovely. He has been very attentive in treating me. The IPL pulse is quite bright and that alone makes me twitch, which makes him check on me often. I'll happily go back to see Dr. Wish in 6 months. Wang Vision Institute is the first place I think of when it comes to my family's eye health. More

I originally had LASIK back in 1999 and it was amazing but, just like the doctor shared, when I turned 45, my vision began to change. I always knew another enhancement was an option but this year I decided it was time.I first thought I would have the procedure done through my regular eye doctor (who offered vision enhancement procedures) but when they failed to call me back after numerous attempts to learn more, I decided not to trust my vision to someone who couldn’t even return a phone call. At that point, I decided to call WVI. I selected the WVI because I knew they were the best in town. When I called, they actually remembered that I had called the previous year to ask questions. It was the exact opposite experience. It was warm, friendly, and it inspired my trust and confidence.The initial examination was very thorough. After the exam I met with Jake Wysiadlowski, OD and he walked me through my options. I never knew there was so many! He made a recommendation and helped me make a decision on what would be best for me. I next met with Cameron Daniels, my Surgical Coordinator. Cameron walked me through the logistics and the pricing. At no point did I ever feel pushed or pressured to select the most expensive option. In fact, given my particular situation, they actually recommended one of the less expensive options. They worked with me to construct a plan that used both my HSA and my Limited Purpose FSA to cover the cost.Before the surgery, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Abhilash Guduru, my surgeon. Everyone along the way explained what to expect, set realistic expectations for my vision and the recovery, and made sure I had the opportunity to ask lots of questions.I arrived at the surgery center on the day of my procedure and everyone was super nice and friendly. I could not have been made to feel more comfortable during the time leading up to the procedure and during the procedure.The procedure did not take long and at no time did I experience even the slightest amount of pain. I was given clear instructions on how to care for my eyes during the few weeks after the surgery and I have been following their instructions exactly. I have had no issues or discomfort whatsoever.  The evening after the surgery I was amazed at how my vision had been corrected and restored. When I went back the next morning for my follow-up appointment with Dr. Guduru, my vision had already been restored to 20/20. I could not be more pleased. I live in Arkansas and chose to have my eyes checked at Wang Vision Institute and I'm so glad that I did! I had RK surgery done back in the early 90's and had scar tissue and residual problems with astigmatism years later. I was told by other Dr's there was nothing I could do to fix the problems. I met with Dr. Guduru and he was very confidant he could help me. I had to sign a waiver that stated, I would still have to wear reading glasses, but that was better than having to wear glasses all the time. I chose Wang Vision over other facilities because they have a relocation of being the best and I’d have to say that I completely agree! I’m 48 and just got lasik surgery on both eyes. They were able to correct to my distance vision without having to lose my close up vision so now I don’t need glasses or contacts at all! No distance or reading glasses. Dr. Guduru performed my procedure and Cameron was my coordinator and both have been wonderful! The site staff are always very friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful, clean and comfortable and even have drinks and snacks for you while you wait (although I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointments). They are adamant about you keeping your FU appoints and reaching out to them with questions or concerns. I'd been considering getting LASIK for years when I finally decided to just go for the consultation and exam. After hearing about the SMILE procedure, choosing Wang Vision Institute was a no brainer. I'm not normally nervous about anything, but I was a little keyed up waiting for my exam and to find out if I was a good candidate. However, *everyone* I interacted with was so calm and friendly that it all felt normal and routine. **Cameron** is an amazing surgical counselor, who took the time to make sure I understood the commitment involved with the surgery. My technicians Scott, Kayla, James and especially **Amanda W.** helped me through every step of the process. (Amanda is so awesome - I felt like my eyes were getting a relaxing, warm spa treatment!) And Baileah did an excellent job coordinating payment and scheduling for my surgery and post-op follow ups. Dr. Zimmerman examined the current state of my eyesight and helped me understand exactly what was going to happen during the SMILE procedure. And I can't praise **Dr. Guduru** enough for his calm manner and precision that got me through the hardest part of the SMILE surgery with flying colors. Besides the outstanding staff, you can expect the exam day to be long because you can get your procedure done the same day if you are a good candidate. (There are complimentary snacks & water while you go through all the tests and exam.) And you do need someone to go with you so they can drive you home while you close/rest your eyes. I slept through the drive, the rest of the afternoon, and right into the night. By morning, my vision was significantly improved and by my first post-op, I was seeing 20/13 vision! It's really important to follow the post-surgery routine as closely as possible for your eyes to heal. I contribute both Dr. Guduru's skill and the post-surgery routine to my excellent recovery. I have worn contacts/glasses for over 18 years. Friday, Dr. Wang performed 3D SMILE on me and now I never have to wear glasses or contacts again! Dr. Wang and his staff performed corneal collagen cross-linking on both of my eyes. The experience was terrific start to finish. Dr. Wang, Dr. Connolly, Dr. Rock, Dr. Zimmerman, and ALL of the additional staff members are fantastic and caring. I felt that I was listened to and all my questions and concerns were addressed fully and compassionately. The only downside is that you have to be prepared to sit in the waiting room for a while before being called back for your appointment. But they do provide snacks and drinks for your wait time, lol. All-in-all, each of my visits has been a pleasure. More

I trusted my eyes with the very best and the results are Excellent! I have worn contacts and glasses for my Strong prescription ( an 8.0 in one eye) for 30 years. I developed astigmatism after I had my child. Everything was blurry without glasses or contacts. Now, I can see everything all the time. Yay! Dr. Wang did not bury his talents.
