I received SMILE about three weeks ago and am blown away by the results! Not only was the procedure quick and painless, the recovery time was only days compared to what would have been weeks with PRK. I cannot recommend Wang Vision enough. My sight and cornea scarring was too bad for them to attempt to fix with lasik. I had previously attended dr wangs seminar. At the time it just wasn’t in our family budget. I would like to give a special thanks to the on-call doctor at 11:30 PM 30/5/18 for addressing my questions politely (and coherently!) in the middle of the night. The customer service is phenomenal. They will address your every concern with patience, kindness, and depth. Dr. Ming Wang speaks with you personally at length during your evaluation, and then again right before/during surgery. All of the doctors/nurses are generous with information and guidance. To answer some questions I had had before surgery: The doctors will evaluate your eyes in the facility, and Dr. Wang will perform surgery the same day if you have followed pre-op instructions sent by the Patient Coordinator. After evaluation, your surgical options are presented to you alongside pricing.During refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, & SMILE) you are safe from accidental eye movements, and my SMILE eye surgery was truly painless. It was like night and day with my vision I was so happy. But then about a month ago my vision got cloudy overnight and the only person that I wanted to look at my eye was my friend Dr. Wang. In life there is trials that we all must go through and life had just thrown me another one. When I seen Dr. Wang he said that it was a cataract that was clouding my vision. But, he told me not to worry the good Lord and him would take care of me. He told me about the New 3D Cataract Laser Surgery that only he performs here would be what we would do. We schedule my surgery for the next week and helped me prepare for it. During the surgery Dr. Wang was having a hard time seeing the cataract due to the old scaring on my cornea. But, he and I prayed a prayer, then he removed the cataract with God’s help guiding his hands and the rest went great. I have been improving a little every day, the Lord blessed me when I found Dr. Wang. The night after the surgery my phone rang at 10 pm and when I answered it my friend Dr. Wang was on the other end, checking on how I was doing. Dr Wang performed cross linking surgery on my eye after I was diagnosed with keratoconus. This is a very destructive disease and he was able to stop the progression and save some of my vision in my right eye. I highly recommend him and his staff. After my husband was diagnosed with Keratoconus, he spent quite a bit of time thoroughly researching the disease and assessing specialists in the United States that treated the disease. He took time to speak to two other eye surgeon specialists about it. After weighing all the options, we decided to go with Dr. Wang and the Wang Vision Institute in Nashville. We were NOT disappointed! My Name is Mike Sutterfield and I am not affiliated in any way with Dr. Wang or Wang Vision institute.. I am 41 years old. Typically to young to suffer with Cataracts. In fact, that is exactly the case. Although this is a review of my experience with Dr. Wang's 3D Cataract surgery, my case was all together a different story. Over the last two years the vision in my right eye had started to degrade to the point of legal blindness. Not yellowing opaque symptoms typical of an aging lens, but kaleidoscope double vision of the worst kind. My brain and left eye struggled to compensate which led to terrible headaches and even some balance issues. Over those two years I went to 11 eye doctors. ALL of them tried to correct my vision the same as they do with the masses. Glasses & contacts The same technologies and the same training.Inside the box. All unsuccessful excluding one. That doctor was Benyamin Ebrahim of Antioch Eye Care, Antioch TN. Although he didn't diagnose the issue, he is an incredible doctor who knew there was an underlying issue and after extensive study personally referred me to Dr. Wang. Optimistically skeptical I showed up to the appointment and went through the same dilation and machines I had seen many many times previous. Then I met Dr. Wang. An enthusiastic Chinese man whose text books and literary works line all of the shelves throughout the office. When I explained my symptoms to him as I had to every other doctor I had seen previously, he seemed intrigued and made me feel validated. He took me into a different room and exposed me to a new prototype machine ( which he helped design) that allowed him to see a simulation of the lens image without the influence of the cornea. He then showed me that simulation which looked exactly like the distorted images I see through my right eye. It was really like a weight was lifted off my chest. I scheduled the surgery with Dr Wang and it was performed yesterday without a hitch. Although it will take a couple weeks to realize the full healing I can see better from my right eye than ever I can remember. Dr Wang is a kind man with an incredible bed side manner. He has personally called to ask of my progress! What doctor does that for outpatient procedures?? He gives his time and research to charities and those in need unnumbered. He is a God fearing Christian and has a great sense of humor. Your vision is nothing to bargain with. The time, research and technology that Dr. Wang exhausts are worth the investment. Dr. Wang and his entire staff are professional, kind and informative. They went out of their way to reassure me, answer my questions and make me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I learned that I have steep corneas that would require PRK instead of Lasik I was disappointed and a bit panicked. PRK sounded more painful and would require a longer recovery time, neither of which I'd planned for. Erika, my coordinator, took the initiative to speak to Dr. Wang and have him review my test results. Dr. Wang determined that my corneas were only slightly steep and that I could indeed have 3D Lasik. I had the procedure in the late afternoon and was resting comfortably last night. I woke up this morning and could read the bedside clock. I am typing this without glasses which was IMPOSSIBLE this time yesterday. I feel like the world is much bigger today and I think Dr. Wang and his team. I'm so glad I made the decision to use Wang Vision for my corrective surgery and will refer friends and family as well. I was told be three well renowned Lasik surgeons over the last five years that I would likely never be a candidate for any laser corrective surgery due to my extremely high level of astigmatism. After my eye exam with them, they all gave me the same speech: "Unfortunately we have some bad news. You aren't a good candidate for Lasik or PRK." I've been in glasses/contacts since I was in kindergarten and until yesterday, my vision was 20/400. If you've ever had an eye exam, you know what 20/400 is if you can barely only see the huge big letter. I had lost all hope of being able to see again without glasses or contacts until I heard about Dr. Wang. I saw on facebook that he was hosting a 3D Lasik and Laser Cataract seminar in Dickson, TN. a few weeks ago and I decided to attend. The seminar was great. My experience at Wang Vision Institute went well. I had the PRK procedure, which takes longer to heal. These first few days my vision has been blurry and I experienced mild discomfort such as dry eyes, light sensitivity, burning and sharp pains which are common side effects. However, before the side effects, I could tell immediately my vision had improved. The required eye drops and other medication can run a bit high ranging from $119 and up depending on insurance. Overall, I'm satisfied with Dr. Wang's services. More

Dr. Wang and his employees are the best! They really care and you can tell. I always feel comfortable and very well taken care of when I am in his office. Three years ago he implanted an intacs lens in my eye because of my keratoconus. I cant tell you how many doctors I went to that wouldnt take me as a patient because of my challenging keratoconus. However, Dr. Wang specializes in challenging eyes and he knew exactly what to do. The intacs put in my eye allowed me to throw out the hard contacts and I was able to use glasses and soft contact for the first time since a teen-ager. This week Dr. Wang removed a cataract from my left eye and I will have the right eye taken care of on Tuesday. I was very comfortable at the surgical center thanks to his great staff. I had PRK surgery last week and the recently FDA approved Kamra surgery Friday. I was impressed by the entire staff. Everyone was very professional and kind. After my husband was diagnosed with Keratoconus, he spent quite a bit of time thoroughly researching the disease and assessing specialists in the United States that treated the disease. He took time to speak to two other eye surgeon specialists about it. After weighing all the options, we decided to go with Dr. Wang and the Wang Vision Institute in Nashville. We were NOT disappointed! Finding out that you were on the team at Harvard that discovered the gene that caused my condition and that, through the use of the laser, you could eliminate my dystrophies and correct my vision gave me hope I had not dreamed of. As an engineer, I depend on the quality of my eyesight to make a living. Because of the gift of restored sight through your PRK and PTK procedures, I have not had to wear glasses and have been free of residual effects from the dystrophies. As you know, I have also developed cataracts as I have aged and I am so pleased to let you and your team know that the lenses you gave me through your 3D laser cataract procedures have again restored the clarity of my vision. My need for glasses of any kind has been eliminated and I cannot tell you what a difference that makes in my daily life. I was diagnosed with Keratoconus earlier this year and had some initial reservations about initial treatment as the ultimate outcome very well may be corneal transplant some day. I came to Wang Vision for my consultation and I must say that Dr. Wang and his staff are outstanding and incredibly knowledgable about all things eye. Their recommendation was treatment with INTACS which is a corneal implant where it supports my thinning cornea with, for lack of a better term, underwire type implant. I received the INTACS treatment on August 7th and outcome was more than I could have ever imagined. The procedure was pain free and quick, and has allowed me to see with no correction at all. I cannot thank Dr. Ming Wang, Dr. Sarah Connolly, or his wonderful staff enough for the care and comfort they provided me. More

When I learned that I have steep corneas that would require PRK instead of Lasik I was disappointed and a bit panicked. PRK sounded more painful and would require a longer recovery time, neither of which I’d planned for. Erika, my coordinator, took the initiative to speak to Dr. Wang and have him review my test results. Dr. Wang determined that my corneas were only slightly steep and that I could indeed have 3D Lasik. I had the procedure in the late afternoon and was resting comfortably last night. I woke up this morning and could read the bedside clock. I am typing this without glasses which was IMPOSSIBLE this time yesterday. I feel like the world is much bigger today and I think Dr. Wang and his team. I’m so glad I made the decision to use Wang Vision for my corrective surgery and will refer friends and family as well. My experience at Wang Vision Institute went well. I had the PRK procedure, which takes longer to heal. These first few days my vision has been blurry and I experienced mild discomfort such as dry eyes, light sensitivity, burning and sharp pains which are common side effects. However, before the side effects, I could tell immediately my vision had improved. The required eye drops and other medication can run a bit high ranging from $119 and up depending on insurance. Overall, I'm satisfied with Dr. Wang's services. More
I cannot say enough good things about my Wang vision institute experience! The procedure was very quick and painless. I was not a candidate for lasik, I had the PRK procedure and they said my vision would be blurry for a few days. I could see better the next day than before the surgery!
