I am resending it via Google as a review of my experience with your outstanding Ophthalmology practice. _______________________________________________________________ Dear Dr. Wang, I do not expect you to remember me, but I worked with you as a Circulating/Pre-Op Nurse when you were still doing procedures at the Oral Surgery Institute at 500 28th Ave North in Nashville in I believe 2010-2011. While my time there was somewhat brief, and unfortunately unpleasant, my finest memories while there were of working with you, and your patients. I never forgot how you always prayed with your patients before you began, and how kind, pleasant, courteous, and considerate you were to everyone that worked with you. You were also particularly kind and encouraging to me, praising my work to my supervisor, for the manner in which I cared for your patients before and after surgery, something that I never forgot. When I left my employment there I made a promise to myself, that if I ever had the means to have surgery on my eyes, (my vision has always been poor, and cataracts, the bane of aging as of the last few years.) that I would have it done by you. I am pleased to say that of this month and year, August 6th, and August 13th, your associate Dr. Guduro performed Left and Right cataract removals with intraocular lens implants for me, and the results (at this early stage anyway) are spectacular. I recently went to Wang Vision for a Cataract consultation. The process went smoothly and the OUTSTANDING staff here know their stuff about eye care. The results of the tests went to Dr. Jones and he sat down with me and discussed the options I had to deal with the cataract situation. It was then that I realized my only option was to remove the cataract and insert an INTRAOCULAR lens. When Dr. Jones completed the consultation, Kayla Sinyard, COT came in and explained the cost of the procedures and what insurance would and would not cover. She did a great job of explaining the cost yet kept it very simple to understand. Once I had all of the info and had made my decisions, Kayla provided the scheduling of the surgery and was a key contact for Wang Vision. The surgery was performed at the Eye Surgery Center which was an Outstanding facility. Dr. Jones completed both surgeries 3 weeks later and the results are amazing. I could see 20/20 the day after surgery. It had been 70 years since I could see 20/20 without the aid of glasses. My hat is off to Dr. Jones, Kayla and the entire Wang vision staff for their professionalism and wonderful care during my eye event. This was MOST appreciated. I had a great experience with my cataract surgery at Wang Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. From the beginning of my consultation in April to my surgeries in May, the Wang staff were wonderful to work with. Prior to my consultation, I attended their online seminar and learned valuable information. After the seminar, I knew Wang Institute was where I wanted to have my cataracts removed. Amazing results and an incredible experience. As an EMS Helicopter Pilot my vision directly affects the safety of my crew and the patients we carry. When I began noticing vision problems (cataracts) that were reaching the limit of what my glasses could correct I began looking for options. After speaking with several people in the medical field and other pilots, the clear choice (pun intended) was Wang Vision Institute. Time was of the essence because I was not going to be able to fly once I got the process started and they were able to get me in for an exam and scheduled my surgery almost immediately. I believe it was Scott that performed my initial exam and you couldn’t ask for a nicer guy. Very patient and willing to answer all of my questions. Most of which were “what does that thingy do?” After my initial assessment I met with Dr Zimmerman who explained all of their findings to me and made sure I understood my condition and what my options were. I did not feel that anyone tried to “up-sell” anything or get me to buy anything I didn’t want. As a mater of fact he recommended against the most costly option based on my needs. I knew exactly what I needed and what I was paying for. My lens replacement surgery was performed by Dr Guduru who was more than accommodating and worked with me on scheduling. To say I was nervous was an understatement. The entire staff at the eye surgery clinic put me at ease (the Valium may have helped). Dr Guduru did an excellent job on the surgery and I was amazed at the results only hours after the surgery when the sedative wore off. The worst part of the process was the wait between getting both eyes done. Less than 3 days after having my second eye done, my vision is better now than it has been at any point in my life (20/15). I know results can vary and it is a lot of money to spend but much like a divorce; eye surgery is expensive because it is worth it. More

Dr. Jones performed my cataract surgery, and the results of the surgery as well as the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Dr. Jones explained that since cataract surgery replaces the lens of the eye that I could opt for a lens that would correct my nearsightedness, and that is the option I chose. It’s hard to believe that not only are my cataracts gone, but I am seeing 20/20 without glasses for the first time in decades. Dr. Jones obviously is a skilled surgeon, but he is also very thorough with addressing any concerns and answering every question that I had. From my first visit with the technician through my surgery and follow up appointments I felt that everyone at Wang Vision truly cared and that they were willing to take the time to make sure that I was comfortable and knew what to expect. He has an exceptional bedside manner and his skillful surgeon's hands have done many an eye surgery. Our new lenses have worked out beautifully. Most recently, we've both been treated for dry eye. I never knew it was an actual affliction, it sounds so Visine-gets-the-red-out kind of problem. But, it's a big problem and it affected our vision, so we highed ourselves back to the Wang Vision Institute. This time, we met Dr. Wysiadlowski ("Dr. Wish") who has introduced to the Wang Institute IPL (intense pulsed light) as a treatment for dry eye and roasacea and hyperpigmentation that also by the way improves the collagen in your skin. Yup. All of that and it's non-invasive. IPL does quite a lot, so you should call them and ask. Also, Wang Vision Institute has a nice range of medical spa procedures. Today was my very last session and I'll still need to go in for annual refreshes. My dry eye is almost cured. I still have to use some prescription drops, but that's an itty bitty inconvenience for the clarity of vision that I now have. Cherry on top is that Dr. Wish is lovely. He has been very attentive in treating me. The IPL pulse is quite bright and that alone makes me twitch, which makes him check on me often. I'll happily go back to see Dr. Wish in 6 months. Let me start off with saying my treatment/surgery by the Wang Vision Institue was a "WOW" experience. My mother went in for Cataracts Surgery & we tried out Wang Vision Institute based on the positive reviews. We're happy to report that my mother no longer needs reading glasses! We received detailed instructions on how the surgery was to be performed, where to go, and what to do after. Dr. Guduru did the surgery & we were in & out in about 3 hours. I am 71 years old and went into Wang to remove cataracts from both eyes; however, they discovered that my left eye had a severe retina issue. Wang suggested I go to the Tennessee Retina Center which was a great suggestion. I now have had lasik surgery and cataract removal on both eyes at Wang. Dr. Guduru performed the surgery and was the kindest and most informative physician I have ever had during my many years. I have a daughter-in-law who had her surgery here so I decided to search them on Google I decided to phone them and they were very nice and talked to me and gave me ideas of pricing and type of surgeries and suggested I come in for a free consultation. I went for my consultation just a few days later and they said my eyes were a good candidate for surgery but would not be covered by Insurance because I do not have cataracts yet. I'm 67. After 2 or 3 hours of eye tests and consulting, I decided I would like to do the Forever Young surgery and we scheduled it for a week later. The surgery went beautifully and here I am two days later able to see great as well as I did with my bifocals and reading glasses but with no glasses on. I am ecstatic and would highly recommend it. Wang vision changed my life! Back in January I went in hoping to get Lasik. After my I total exam I was regretfully informed that due to my high prescription I wouldn’t not be a candidate for Lasik. This was disappointing as I had saved the money and was ready to pull the trigger on this procedure. After asking what else could be done, Dr. Koch recommended another option. She said to make Lasik possible they needed to correct my refractive lenses. After those were corrected my new prescription would make me eligible for Lasik. She explained that this was a larger procedure and that the oral process would take about 6 months. I decided to follow through with this option and set the date. I received Refractive Lens Exchange surgery in both eyes from Dr. Frenkel in February 2021 this procedure is exactly the same as a standard cataracts procedure except I didn’t have cataracts). They replaced my existing lenses with artificial ones that would improve my vision. Three months later in May of 2021 I received a YAG procedure on both eyes. (This is where they removed the scar tissue from the last procedure. This is extremely common and took less than 15 minutes. It required no sedation and was done in their normal office in Nashville. This was also performed by Dr. Frenkel. Then three months after that (August 2021) I **FINALLY** got the Lasik procedure done in both eyes! (Dr. Frenkel again.) This was a journey, a process and at times a headache (the constant eye drops after each procedure lol). But let me tell you, I am now SEEING 20/20!!! Even as I type this I am using nothing but my eyeballs! No glasses or contacts! I have never in my entire life been without corrective lenses. Before my procedures I was in thick glasses or contacts to be able to do anything! I simply cannot explain how amazing it is to be free from that! If you are anything like myself, and you are considering this path as you weren’t eligible for the standard Lasik procedure itself I recommend that you DO IT! This was simply one of the best decisions of my life. Wang vision changed my life. They held my hand through the whole process and in the end I received the results I had been hoping for! Thank you Wang vision and thank you Jesus for the success and good results I’ve received! I’m beyond words! Pro tips: * Do the “A” plan. It’s cheaper in the long run and it’s very reassuring to have! * Don’t overthink it. I had cataract surgery three weeks today. I am 47 and my prediction glasses were 12.75. My eyes continue to get nearsighted every year since I was 5 years old. Dr Wang performed cataract surgery and was able to fix my astigmatism and all of the floaters. Other doctors would not operate even though my sight was poor with corrective glasses. This was a very scary experience because I have been told my entire life surgery would be very risky. I had Lasik surgery 3 days ago. I’m not sure I have enough words to say, around how amazing this experience was. Scott is wonderful with the testing and answering my numerous questions. Dr. Wang performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes in late May and early June, 2019. His office staff and the staff at the surgery center were exceptional. I was having problems due to cataracts in both my eyes but my left eye was legally blind! Dr. Ming Wang was the first doctor to tell me he could help me and I had seen three other doctors that wanted to talk about how much it was going to cost me and promising nothing as far as my sight was concerned! My father was legally blind in his right eye, and almost in his left. He is very independent, lives alone and drives all around Nashville and beyond. Dr Skelo, close to St Thomas West, didnt want to help him arrange cataract surgery. She told him that he didnt have to have the surgery because it was an elective procedure. She also told me behind his back that i shouldnt let him drive, as his cataracts were very bad. She gave a laundry list of obstacles to overcome.We began jumping through many hoops. Once we had a clearance for surgery letter from a family medicine doctor, and took it to her office...we didnt hear from her, and I called several times. And I finally said that i met her criteria for being able to schedule surgery. She then picked up the phone and wanted to add further testing and still refused to help us...it was on a Thursday afternoon and I was so discouraged. This is a low risk procedure. I googled cataract surgery, and of course Ming Wang popped up. I called and the sweetest voice was on the other line. I told her of our struggles, and she said, "how early can you come in the morning!" And that "catarat surgery is a necessary surgery, if one wants to be independant, drive, have any kind of quality life" that is exactly the way we felt...came to his office early the following day...had many types of exams, saw Dr Wang, obtained a prescriptions for the necessary drops...and scheduled surgery for rhe following Tuesday. Everything went perfect. Had the second eye surgery two weeks later. We always looked forward for the many follow up visits. My dad just loves Dr Wang, Dr Connelly, and all of his wonderful staff. My dad says that he feels like they had a genuine concern for him and his needs. They always treated him like the most important patient ever!!! I will add that Dr Wang called to check on him, the evening, after each surgery. This meant a lot to my dad. And yes, he is a celebrity, due to his winning personality, exceptional skill, outstanding staff, and beautiful facility. Having to wear glasses and or contacts for over 55 yrs Dr. Wang has lifted the weight off my nose. My life has been changed with a simple HD laser cataract surgery and the placement of Forever Young Lenses. Ever since I was in first grade I have had to wear glasses. I was considered legally blind without my contacts or glasses. My experience was wonderful, I cannot say enough about Dr. Wang and his staff. First of all I had had prior surgery on my eye from a macular hole where I lost my central vision and month later developed a cataract. I heard about Dr. Wang from one of his seminars I attended years ago. I knew who I wanted to do my cataract surgery. I got in fairly soon, not a long wait and decided to go with the 3D laser surgery and I cannot tell you how wonderful he was and all the staff in his office and at the eye surgery center they were wonderful. In life there is trials that we all must go through and life had just thrown me another one. When I seen Dr. Wang he said that it was a cataract that was clouding my vision. But, he told me not to worry the good Lord and him would take care of me. He told me about the New 3D Cataract Laser Surgery that only he performs here would be what we would do. Dr. Wang performed my incredible LASIK surgery 16 years ago and I wanted him to do my cataract surgery when it became necessary. Last Thursday Dr. Wang performed 3D Laser cataract surgery implanting his "Forever Young Lenses" in my left eye. There was no pain and his professional staff were wonderful. I have never been a candidate for lasik before and never thought I would be until Dr Wang. I also never thought I would develop Cataracts early. We schedule my surgery for the next week and helped me prepare for it. During the surgery Dr. Wang was having a hard time seeing the cataract due to the old scaring on my cornea. But, he and I prayed a prayer, then he removed the cataract with God’s help guiding his hands and the rest went great. I have been improving a little every day, the Lord blessed me when I found Dr. Wang. The night after the surgery my phone rang at 10 pm and when I answered it my friend Dr. Wang was on the other end, checking on how I was doing. My Name is Mike Sutterfield and I am not affiliated in any way with Dr. Wang or Wang Vision institute.. I am 41 years old. Typically to young to suffer with Cataracts. In fact, that is exactly the case. Although this is a review of my experience with Dr. Wang's 3D Cataract surgery, my case was all together a different story. Over the last two years the vision in my right eye had started to degrade to the point of legal blindness. Not yellowing opaque symptoms typical of an aging lens, but kaleidoscope double vision of the worst kind. My brain and left eye struggled to compensate which led to terrible headaches and even some balance issues. Over those two years I went to 11 eye doctors. An enthusiastic Chinese man whose text books and literary works line all of the shelves throughout the office. When I explained my symptoms to him as I had to every other doctor I had seen previously, he seemed intrigued and made me feel validated. He took me into a different room and exposed me to a new prototype machine ( which he helped design) that allowed him to see a simulation of the lens image without the influence of the cornea. He then showed me that simulation which looked exactly like the distorted images I see through my right eye. It was really like a weight was lifted off my chest. I scheduled the surgery with Dr Wang and it was performed yesterday without a hitch. I have just completed lasik eye surgery for cataracts including the Forever Young Lens. Dr. Wang's Institute made the entire process so easy and comforting. My mother-in-law (Suzanne Richardson) was recently operated on at the center. They did both eyes over a period of 3 days. While still taped over one eye, the other has improved immeasurably. No surgery is a pleasant experience, but I have to say that Wang Vision Institute makes it as close as possible. The initial testing was very thorough and not uncomfortable at all. My Name is Mike Sutterfield and I am not affiliated in any way with Dr. Wang or Wang Vision institute.. I am 41 years old. Typically to young to suffer with Cataracts. In fact, that is exactly the case. Although this is a review of my experience with Dr. Wang's 3D Cataract surgery, my case was all together a different story. Over the last two years the vision in my right eye had started to degrade to the point of legal blindness. Not yellowing opaque symptoms typical of an aging lens, but kaleidoscope double vision of the worst kind. My brain and left eye struggled to compensate which led to terrible headaches and even some balance issues. Over those two years I went to 11 eye doctors. ALL of them tried to correct my vision the same as they do with the masses. Glasses & contacts The same technologies and the same training.Inside the box. All unsuccessful excluding one. That doctor was Benyamin Ebrahim of Antioch Eye Care, Antioch TN. Although he didn't diagnose the issue, he is an incredible doctor who knew there was an underlying issue and after extensive study personally referred me to Dr. Wang. Optimistically skeptical I showed up to the appointment and went through the same dilation and machines I had seen many many times previous. Then I met Dr. Wang. An enthusiastic Chinese man whose text books and literary works line all of the shelves throughout the office. When I explained my symptoms to him as I had to every other doctor I had seen previously, he seemed intrigued and made me feel validated. He took me into a different room and exposed me to a new prototype machine ( which he helped design) that allowed him to see a simulation of the lens image without the influence of the cornea. He then showed me that simulation which looked exactly like the distorted images I see through my right eye. It was really like a weight was lifted off my chest. I scheduled the surgery with Dr Wang and it was performed yesterday without a hitch. Although it will take a couple weeks to realize the full healing I can see better from my right eye than ever I can remember. Dr Wang is a kind man with an incredible bed side manner. I had 3D LASIK surgery on Friday. My experience has been awesome! I can not say enough great things about the staff at Wang Vision Institute. They took really great care of me. I have had glasses since I was 3 years old. My eyes were extremely farsighted with bad astigmatisms. Every doctor I had seen told me I would never be a candidate for LASIK surgery. Dr. Wang is the only doctor that could do my surgery. A day post surgery, I am seeing 20/25. My eyes are still healing at the moment, so hopefully in a couple of months I will be a normal 20/20 or even better! I went to see Dr. Wang because my vision had deteriorated greatly over the years due to cataracts. I knew Dr. Wang was one of the top eye surgeons in the world and I could trust him to help me. This decision has turned out to be one of the best I have ever made. Dr. Wang informed me that I was seeing at about a 60% level. I received the laser cataract surgery and the forever young lens. I have just completed lasik eye surgery for cataracts including the Forever Young Lens. Dr. Wang's Institute made the entire process so easy and comforting. You do worry when you are going to have eye surgery but Dr. Wang and his staff were like family in helping to understand each step. They share written information , videos , and take the time to go over any concern. The big surprise was there was not any pain or discomfort before, during, or after the process. Overall, a GREAT experience!! Dr. Wang has his staff are professional and caring, thorough and experienced. I am 33years old, very nearsighted and developed a cataract as a result of a detached retina. The staff at the Wang Vision Institute evaluated me and set out a plan to improve my vision, cataract surgery. Dr. Wang was awesome, gentle and caring. A man of faith which means a great deal to me. He told me what my expected outcome would be, vision of around 20/40-50 without glasses - I had the surgery yesterday and went in this morning for the post-op visit and was able to read the 20/30 line without glasses - expectations exceeded. They advised that as the swelling goes down and the dilation wears off, that my vision should improve even more - I hope that this is the case. In between the schedule and the actual surgery, I was in email contact with my medical secretary, which wasn't always reliable, so at times, I had to call in to make my inquires, Eric, my medical secretary was very helpful in addressing my questions and concerns. Eric, like Dr. Wang, was also very caring and a man of faith - which I found to be encouraging. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute for your vision needs!! More

I had 3D LASIK surgery on Friday. My experience has been awesome! I can not say enough great things about the staff at Wang Vision Institute. They took really great care of me. I have had glasses since I was 3 years old. My eyes were extremely farsighted with bad astigmatisms. Every doctor I had seen told me I would never be a candidate for LASIK surgery. Dr. Wang is the only doctor that could do my surgery. A day post surgery, I am seeing 20/25. My eyes are still healing at the moment, so hopefully in a couple of months I will be a normal 20/20 or even better! It is awesome being able to wake up and not have to reach for my glasses or bother putting in contact lens. Dr. Wang is the best surgeon in TN and possibly the world. He definitely has God's hand on his shoulder guiding him with every surgery he performs. My husband, Brad, had an amazing experience with Dr. Wang. Brad has worn glasses since he was 18 months old. He wore a patch for 2 years due to a lazy eye and had a pretty bad astigmatism. Most eye doctors wouldn't even consider doing surgery on his severe farsightedness. Because of this, we knew that we'd have to seek out the best doctor and that was Dr. Ming Wang. From the time we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome and at ease. All of the employees were helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be working there. You would catch glimpses of them dancing in the hallways and laughing and joking with one another. Also, none of them wore glasses because Dr. Wang had performed all of their surgeries. What better advertisement than to have all of your employees to have a personal testimony of their experience? Brad's surgery went very smoothly and he was amazed at how he could see things that he never could before without his glasses. Dr. Wang and all of his staff were very helpful and compassionate when it came to answering all of mine and my parents questions. The testing process is quick and painless and they talk you through every step. Eyes are a very important component to life and Dr. Wang made sure that I would be getting the right procedure so no damage to my eyes would occur. He really does have your best interest at heart. He is the sweetest doctor I have ever had the privilege of knowing.Dr. Wang personally called me the night after my surgery to ask how I was feeling. After previous visits to other ophthalmologists my mother's vision was rapidly declining. She had been told by these physicians that her cataracts were not bad enough for surgery. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" -- and that is why I knew that I would not be comfortable entrusting my eyesight to just any surgeon. When I started researching LASIK options in Nashville, the Wang Vision Institute came up early as the place that country music celebrities go for LASIK and cataract surgery. To be honest, I was a little turned off from the website -- it is a little overwhelming! But after my consultation with Dr. Wang, I realized that he was the doctor for me. Not only is he passionate about his profession, but he is also into the latest technology. I am a pretty risk-averse person but knew that between Dr. Wang's extensive experience and his 3D bladeless surgical technology, it was the best possible option to correct my nearsightedness (20/400).
