I've been in glasses since 5th grade, with an eye exam every year. Went to WVI for a free consultation. It was the most thorough exam of my life (and I've had a lot of eye exams since 5th grade). Learned so much about my eye health and vision during the consult. If you're nervous about LASIK or just curious, go for a consultation, it's no commitment and you are going to have the best exam ever! They also offer same-day procedures, but I planned mine a few months out due to a beach trip. Glasses and beach don't mix, came back early, got LASIK, and am living the best eyesight dream!! No glasses on my face or always needing to be cleaned, no contacts drying my eyes out or causing discomfort. Everything was explained so thoroughly, and has gone exactly as expected. Thankful to the team, Karen, who worked with my consult, Cameron, who helped me organize, Dr. W., who provided the most thorough exam and took the time to discuss my eye health, Dr. Jones, who performed the procedure, and Dennis, who stayed with me and guided me through the whole procedure on LASIK day. He answered all of my questions as they popped up and helped ease my anxiety with information and guidance. The procedure was unexpectedly easy with his support. Thanks to the WVI team, I can see!! I had found Wang Institute from previous people who had lasik there and heard nothing but positive reviews. I set up a consultation and Karen did all of my eye exams to make sure I was a good candidate. Turns out I was a good candidate so I went ahead and scheduled for the SMILE lasik procedure. Cameron was super nice and helpful with explaining the cost and payment plans. Dr. Guduru performed my surgery and I was very anxious, but he helped me by talking through the entire surgery and it was painless and quick. 24 hrs later and I can see without contacts or glasses! So happy I chose Wang Institute. More
Incredible experience! I went in expecting to discuss Lasik, but learned of a newer, even less invasive procedure called SMILE. After a few eye exams to make sure I qualified for SMILE, I was approved, and was able to receive the procedure the same day. The entire staff was wonderful! Everyone was helpful throughout each step and made sure I felt comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend for SMILE/Lasik :) More
On Friday, I traveled to Nashville for my Lasik consultation and “hopefully” surgery at the Wang Vision Institute. All paperwork and directions had been sent to me before hand. The paperwork included detailed pictures related to parking and arrival to the office. I was greeted with friendly staff at each point of my visit, from the initial eye exams, consultation with the Optometrist, support staff and finally the surgeon and technician. Within 4 hours of arrival I was approved and my surgery was completed. I received all the information and items needed to get me home for a successful recovery. I followed all the post procedure protocol and had a great followup the next Monday. I have no regrets, except I wish I had gone to Dr Wang sooner. More

Dr. Wang is the best in the business and so is his staff, they are professional and proficient in every step. Dr. Connolly and other personnel did multiple eye exams which were cross referenced to avoid any mistakes and all were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Wang makes sure you make an informed decision and the procedure only takes a few minutes once started. I had 3D LASIK done on the same day that I went in for an evaluation, the next day I had 15/20 vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute. I knew that thing they handed me at the end didn't feel like a pillow and had legs on it. More
