I worked with WVIN a couple of weeks ago for SMILE treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results! I now see better than 20-20. I had been quite nearsighted with astigmatism since childhood. The consultation was extremely informative in recommending a course of treatment and efficient to boot. The team was able to perform the operation the same day! The procedure took maybe 15mins and was painless. Thank you to Dr. Guduru and team. Great physicians! After care steps were well organized (easy to follow), and the team was very proactive in coordinating with my local pharmacy. One prescription was unavailable and required a substitute. Overall, my recovery time was better than expected. Financing terms were favorable, and the front office was quick to respond for Q&A and scheduling. I saw Dr. Kyle Jones for ICL surgery. I’ve been extremely nearsighted all my life and it was the best decision I’ve made. I had surgery in September and wanted to wait to give a full review. I had cataract surgery three weeks today. I am 47 and my prediction glasses were 12.75. My eyes continue to get nearsighted every year since I was 5 years old. Dr Wang performed cataract surgery and was able to fix my astigmatism and all of the floaters. Other doctors would not operate even though my sight was poor with corrective glasses. This was a very scary experience because I have been told my entire life surgery would be very risky. Yesterday afternoon, I had the SMILE procedure done on both eyes by Dr Wang. The following morning (today), I went back in for a post-op follow-up and both eyes are now a perfect 20/20 - in less than 24 hours! What an awesome experience! SMILE definitely made me smile! Now for background. I'm 45/m and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a teenager. Several years ago, my vision stabilized in both eyes at -4.75 (nearsighted). I finally felt that the time was right, to look into the options of Lasik surgery. Of course, Dr Wang was my only consideration. I arrived at Dr Wang's office and was treated so very well by all staff and doctors. I was given the expected vision tests and then told my options for correction. After careful consideration, I decided to go with SMILE. At that point, I was taken to surgery where I was placed on the operating table and prepped. Dr Wang then came into the room and introduced himself. First thing he immediately asked me to do, was close my eyes...and then he initiated a prayer over us! WOW!! Dr Wang started on my right eye first, and the procedure for my left eye went exactly the same. During the surgery Dr Wang and his staff were in constant communication with me. They guided me verbally thru the entire process...telling me what I was about to see and feel, asked how I was doing, paced my breathing, and they gave me a countdown of when certain tasks were being completed. I cannot give enough gratitude for that. I was literally in one of the most vulnerable moments in my life, and to have all their reassuring voices there to guide me, helped make it so much more comfortable. Dr Wang is truly amazing. I have NEVER been treated so well as a patient anywhere. Later that evening after the surgery, Dr Wang personally called me to check in, see how I was doing, and he reiterated how well the surgery went. How many Doctors do that?! Dr Wang is sincere, humble, and truly appreciates being able to help people. I just want to conclude, by saying once more, how much I appreciate everyone there. I have worn glasses/contacts for over 30 years. Up until now, eye doctors told me that I was not a candidate for vision correction due to very high myopia (nearly -10), scleral buckle, and multiple retinal detachments. After a lot of research, I decided to send Dr. Wang’s office an email to explain my situation. Surprisingly, Dr. Wang himself responded! We continued a conversation through email that convinced me to visit his office in Nashville. From the time I arrived to the completion of my surgery, the staff was amazing! Dr. Ming Wang is an exceptional doctor and he cares about his patients. I had 3D lasik reduction because my prescription was so strong (-10.5 and -10.15). He prayed with me right before my surgery, gave me a discount for coming to his seminar, gave me a disc with music to help me heal and called to check on me last night. 99% of lasik doctors do not have the skills or technology to address my extreme myopia, in fact, I had the highest prescription that Dr. Wang treated all week! The Wang Vision Institute has several procedures that cover a wide range of eye issues! I am so impressed with how wonderful he and his staff were and they made me feel comfortable in their care. The staff at the Wang Vision Institute evaluated me and set out a plan to improve my vision, cataract surgery. Dr. Wang was awesome, gentle and caring. A man of faith which means a great deal to me. He told me what my expected outcome would be, vision of around 20/40-50 without glasses - I had the surgery yesterday and went in this morning for the post-op visit and was able to read the 20/30 line without glasses - expectations exceeded. They advised that as the swelling goes down and the dilation wears off, that my vision should improve even more - I hope that this is the case. In between the schedule and the actual surgery, I was in email contact with my medical secretary, which wasn't always reliable, so at times, I had to call in to make my inquires, Eric, my medical secretary was very helpful in addressing my questions and concerns. Eric, like Dr. Wang, was also very caring and a man of faith - which I found to be encouraging. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute for your vision needs!! More

Over the years, my eyes became very dry and intolerant of contacts and I developed a recurrent condition called giant papillary conjunctivitis. I have a very active job and to be limited by a pound of plastic hanging on the front of my face made things unnecessarily difficult. I had dreamed of being lucky enough to get Lasik for years and years and years and it seemed like something I would never have the opportunity to have done. Dr. Wang and his staff not only made it possible, they made it easy. All my life, what I wanted more than anything was to open my eyes in the morning and be able to see what was around me. And, for the first time in my life, I was able to do that. So simple, but so significant and profound. Wang Vision Institute is amazing. I had 3D Lasik in February of 2013 and a touch up yesterday due to severe myopia in both eyes (right eye being the worst. Having worn glasses/contacts since 3rd grade, I am extremely happy with my outcome. The day after surgery I woke up feeling as if a miracle had been performed. I could see the alarm clock!
