Sights to See in Nashville This Summer
The weather is getting hotter, and it’s time to have some fun in the sun! Here are some of Wang Vision’s favorite things to do once summer hits Nashville.
1. CMA Fest
An iconic Nashville festival, CMA Fest runs from June 8 to June 11. With big headliners playing Nissan Stadium and smaller venues and bars hosting free shows around the downtown area, CMA Fest is sure to be a crowd pleaser. For more information on artists, times, and venues participating, head to cmafest.com.
2. Nashville Sounds
Sports season doesn’t have to be over just because it’s summer! Grab tickets to a Nashville Sounds game and enjoy some ballpark fun. The Sounds’ season runs from spring to the end of September which means there’s plenty of opportunities to catch the Sounds in a game. Grab a seat in the stands or buy a lawn ticket and a blanket!
3. Let Freedom Sing!
Celebrate America’s birthday on July 4 with the Music City Let Freedom Sing! free event downtown. Enjoy a free concert with headliner Brad Paisley and the largest fireworks show in the country synchronized to a live performance by the Nashville Symphony.
4. Nashville Soccer Club
Can’t get enough of summer sports? Grab tickets to the local MLS team’s games in Geodis Park located in Wedgewood-Houston. Cheer on the NSC in blue and yellow, and enjoy local sports park favorites like Daddy’s Dogs and Prince’s Hot Chicken.
5. Nashville Farmers Market
Spend a morning with the family at the Nashville Farmers Market! This market includes hundreds of local vendors selling their goods as well as a plant shop and Jamaican restaurant connected to the market. Eat fresh and local this summer!
