Sights to See in Nashville This Fall

Nashville in the fall is all about having fun, and some great events are happening this season that you won't want to miss. So mark your calendars and check out our list of five exciting events happening in Music City this season: 


1. Cheekwood Harvest

   - When: September 16, 2023, to October 29, 2023

   - Where: Cheekwood Estate and Gardens

   - What to Expect: Cheekwood Harvest is all about embracing the fall spirit. You can take a leisurely walk through the Bradford Robertson Color Garden, which is decked out with pumpkins and chrysanthemums. You can also check out their Pumpkin Village, explore a scarecrow trail, enjoy live music in the beer garden, and pick a pumpkin to carve with your family.

2. Goblins & Giggles 

   - When: September 8, 2023, to October 29, 2023

   - Where: Gaylord Opryland Resort

   - What to Expect: If you're up for a bit of spooky fun, check out Goblins & Giggles at Gaylord Opryland Resort. It's like a mini staycation with tons of seasonal activities, including scavenger hunts, trick-or-treating, a ghouls' night out riverboat expedition, and a fall delta riverboat ride. There's something for everyone in the family.

3. Boo at the Zoo 

   - When: October 13-29, 2023, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm (nightly)

   - Where: Nashville Zoo

   - What to Expect: Boo at the Zoo is a family-friendly Halloween event at the Nashville Zoo. You can explore fall-themed scenes, let your kids do some trick-or-treating, catch special animal shows, and more. Tickets are $21 on weekends and $18 on weekdays, and kids under 2 get in free.

4. Ghost Tours 

   - When: Select dates in September and October 2023, 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm

   - Where: The Hermitage

   - What to Expect: For something a little spooky, you can join the Ghost Tours at The Hermitage. On certain nights in September and October, they offer haunted tours of the mansion, grounds, and cemetery. Tickets are $50, but keep in mind that these tours are not recommended for kids under 12.

5. Tennessee Craft Fair

   - When: October 13-15, 2023

   - Where: Centennial Park

   - What to Expect: The Fall Tennessee Craft Fair is a great place to soak in some artistic vibes. It happens from October 13 to 15, 2023, at Centennial Park. You'll find over 150 craft artisans showcasing their work. Watch live demonstrations, try your hand at hands-on activities, and enjoy tasty treats from local food vendors. Plus, you can watch artisans create their pieces right before your eyes. This event is free and open to all ages.
