Wang vision changed my life! Back in January I went in hoping to get Lasik. After my I total exam I was regretfully informed that due to my high prescription I wouldn’t not be a candidate for Lasik. This was disappointing as I had saved the money and was ready to pull the trigger on this procedure. After asking what else could be done, Dr. Koch recommended another option. She said to make Lasik possible they needed to correct my refractive lenses. After those were corrected my new prescription would make me eligible for Lasik. She explained that this was a larger procedure and that the oral process would take about 6 months. I decided to follow through with this option and set the date. I received Refractive Lens Exchange surgery in both eyes from Dr. Frenkel in February 2021 this procedure is exactly the same as a standard cataracts procedure except I didn’t have cataracts). They replaced my existing lenses with artificial ones that would improve my vision. Three months later in May of 2021 I received a YAG procedure on both eyes. (This is where they removed the scar tissue from the last procedure. This is extremely common and took less than 15 minutes. It required no sedation and was done in their normal office in Nashville. This was also performed by Dr. Frenkel. Then three months after that (August 2021) I **FINALLY** got the Lasik procedure done in both eyes! (Dr. Frenkel again.) This was a journey, a process and at times a headache (the constant eye drops after each procedure lol). But let me tell you, I am now SEEING 20/20!!! Even as I type this I am using nothing but my eyeballs! No glasses or contacts! I have never in my entire life been without corrective lenses. Before my procedures I was in thick glasses or contacts to be able to do anything! I simply cannot explain how amazing it is to be free from that! If you are anything like myself, and you are considering this path as you weren’t eligible for the standard Lasik procedure itself I recommend that you DO IT! This was simply one of the best decisions of my life. Wang vision changed my life. They held my hand through the whole process and in the end I received the results I had been hoping for! Thank you Wang vision and thank you Jesus for the success and good results I’ve received! I’m beyond words! Pro tips: * Do the “A” plan. It’s cheaper in the long run and it’s very reassuring to have! * Don’t overthink it. The difference between this process and simply coming in for a Lasik procedure is that your progress takes much longer. Trust the process. Based on the character I believe this business holds, they wouldn’t recommend a procedure that you wouldn’t benefit from. * If you can pay cash do so! They offer a great discount for it! More

It is so nice to be able to wake up and see my clock in the morning. My eye sight is better now than I ever remember being able to see before. Just looking at the sky and the clouds is so amazing. It’s such a blessing to be able to finally see all of Gods wonderful details when I am outside hiking, fishing, and hunting. Everyone at the Wang Vision Institute was very nice and understanding. I’ve always wanted to get lasik eye surgery but have always been too scared thinking of everything that could go wrong. When I arrived to Wang Vision all the staff makes you feel very comfortable. I have worn glasses/contacts for over 30 years. Up until now, eye doctors told me that I was not a candidate for vision correction due to very high myopia (nearly -10), scleral buckle, and multiple retinal detachments. After a lot of research, I decided to send Dr. Wang’s office an email to explain my situation. Surprisingly, Dr. Wang himself responded! We continued a conversation through email that convinced me to visit his office in Nashville. From the time I arrived to the completion of my surgery, the staff was amazing! LASIK surgery update : I can see!! 🎉Yesterday’s appointment with Wang Vision Institute was eye opening! Literally! We were told by friends that it would take minutes but my vision was so bad (-7 in one eye and -6 in the other) that it did not. I was treated differently. Some places probably wouldn’t have had the technology or skill to work on me. We are thankful for @wangvisionlasik that they could. The staff were thorough because this is my vision we were talking about. Getting SMILE surgery at the Wang Vision Institute has been the best medical experience I've ever had. The staff have been friendly, the wait times nonexistent, and the surgery has left me with 20/15 vision. Dr. Wang even called me personally to remind me to wear eye protection after the surgery. That's right, not a nurse or an intern, but the doctor himself.As for business practices, I came in for a consultation about PRK laser surgery, which was a more expensive option than LASIK. After the consultation I was told that I was better suited for SMILE, which would normally be more expensive than either PRK or LASIK, however, they were having a limited sale on SMILE surgeries, which ended up being as cheap as the regular LASIK.tl;dr - Dr. Wang and his staff care, and you will have improved vision if you follow their instructions More
Rather than having you read about my entire great experience and then give my overall summary, I'll get straight to the point upfront. Yesterday afternoon, I had the SMILE procedure done on both eyes by Dr Wang. The following morning (today), I went back in for a post-op follow-up and both eyes are now a perfect 20/20 - in less than 24 hours! What an awesome experience! SMILE definitely made me smile!Now for background. I'm 45/m and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a teenager. Several years ago, my vision stabilized in both eyes at -4.75 (nearsighted). I finally felt that the time was right, to look into the options of Lasik surgery. Of course, Dr Wang was my only consideration.I arrived at Dr Wang's office and was treated so very well by all staff and doctors. I was given the expected vision tests and then told my options for correction. After careful consideration, I decided to go with SMILE. At that point, I was taken to surgery where I was placed on the operating table and prepped. Dr Wang then came into the room and introduced himself. First thing he immediately asked me to do, was close my eyes...and then he initiated a prayer over us! WOW!!Dr Wang started on my right eye first, and the procedure for my left eye went exactly the same. During the surgery Dr Wang and his staff were in constant communication with me. They guided me verbally thru the entire process...telling me what I was about to see and feel, asked how I was doing, paced my breathing, and they gave me a countdown of when certain tasks were being completed. I cannot give enough gratitude for that. I was literally in one of the most vulnerable moments in my life, and to have all their reassuring voices there to guide me, helped make it so much more comfortable.Dr Wang is truly amazing. I have NEVER been treated so well as a patient anywhere. Later that evening after the surgery, Dr Wang personally called me to check in, see how I was doing, and he reiterated how well the surgery went. How many Doctors do that?! Dr Wang is sincere, humble, and truly appreciates being able to help people.I just want to conclude, by saying once more, how much I appreciate everyone there. I had -11 vision and astigmatism in both eyes. I was told by several doctors that i was not a candidate for lasik due to my prescription and astigmatism. After my consultation, they recommended 3D reduction lasik surgery to help reduce my -11 vision. I knew that the procedure would help reduce my vision and require me to have a mild prescription to drive at night and maybe read. After my procedure, I was able to open my eyes right away and could see. it was a very emotional moment. The next day at my post opp appointment I was told that I now have 20-30 vision which was not what was expected. this was a very emotional experience for me and I could not be more happy with the outcome. I was referred to Dr. Ming Wang by a USMC Pilot who himself had LASIK at the Institute. I just had lasik surgery here yesterday. And within the next 24 hours my vision have increased to 25/25, I’m excited to see my vision increase even more over the next days to come. Cataract surgery on both eyes left me far-sighted, after many years of being near-sighted. My brother referred me to Dr. Ming Wang, who fixed my vision with LASIK surgery on one eye only. Ever since I was in first grade I have had to wear glasses. I was considered legally blind without my contacts or glasses. The biggest letter all by itself on the board to see how well you see I couldn’t make out. It was a blur. I have dry eyes, very bad astigmatism, high prescription, and cataracts in both eyes. I have been a patient of Dr. Wang's for 11 months. I first went to his presentation and received a discount on surgery. As a patient, you learn that it can take a year or more for the entire process to work. This has been the case for me. I started out with cataract surgery, then seven months later, YAG surgery, then four months later, lasik surgery, which was preformed two days ago. Guess what? It was a very debilitating part of my life. It was hard to do my favorite activities, without glasses. I hated the way glasses looked on my face and I always had to take them off for pictures. Wow, the results of my LASIK surgery are incredible! Dr. Wang really knows what he's doing and treats his patients with such care and patience. My vision has been extremely blurry ever since I was in the 3rd grade, I am currently 24 now. My grandfather and both sisters had lasik performed by Dr Wang this year and they encouraged me to have the procedure done. I was a little weary at first, due to the fact that I knew little to nothing about the surgery. Finally, after going on vacation and being unable to see when I snorkeled, I made an appointment at the wang vision institute. That was the best decision of my life. Dr. Wang is the best in the business and so is his staff, they are professional and proficient in every step. Dr. Connolly and other personnel did multiple eye exams which were cross referenced to avoid any mistakes and all were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Wang makes sure you make an informed decision and the procedure only takes a few minutes once started. I had 3D LASIK done on the same day that I went in for an evaluation, the next day I had 15/20 vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other. I highly recommend the Wang Vision Institute. Awesome experience and very professional and kind staff. The entire process from exam to procedure (I decided to go ahead and get it done the same day) was 4 hour. The exam is very extensive and thorough. Dr. Wang was professional and explained everything and even though I was getting 3D lasik he kinda laughed and said you know you are not 20 so you will still need reading glasses...which I already knew. But I am so thankful for being able to see distances again. No more glasses at the beach except SUNGLASSES...thank you again. More

I had 3D Lasik about a month ago for my astigmatism. Dr Wang was able to fix my eyes were I can read and see at a distance. Local Dr.'s told me if I had Lasik that I would probably have to use reading glasses. He was able to do mine so I would not have too. It is some of the best money I have spent. I followed his instructions post op and had no issues. I would highly recommend him. More
I love going to Wang Vision Institute, the staff there are always super friendly and helpful! I had lasik there three years ago and haven't had any problems with my vision since but I continue to go there every year for an annual check up and the staff and doctors have always been great! I would like to give a special thanks to the on-call doctor at 11:30 PM 30/5/18 for addressing my questions politely (and coherently!) in the middle of the night. The customer service is phenomenal. They will address your every concern with patience, kindness, and depth. Dr. Ming Wang speaks with you personally at length during your evaluation, and then again right before/during surgery. All of the doctors/nurses are generous with information and guidance. To answer some questions I had had before surgery: The doctors will evaluate your eyes in the facility, and Dr. Wang will perform surgery the same day if you have followed pre-op instructions sent by the Patient Coordinator. After evaluation, your surgical options are presented to you alongside pricing.During refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, & SMILE) you are safe from accidental eye movements, and my SMILE eye surgery was truly painless. What an amazing experience we had! Dr Wang and his staff are so kind, down to earth, and made the experience with every visit so pleasant! The staff are all very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. You do have to wait a long time to be seen, but once you are seen everything is efficient and pleasant. The facilities are nice. Had cataract surgery on my right eye on March 21 and received the “Forever Young” lens and LASIK to correct my astigmatism. I must tell you that it is a life changing experience. I can now see clocks, writing, leaves at a distance for the first time in 60 years with that eye! I chose to attend Dr Wang’s seminar after hearing success stories from friends. Immediately I knew I was in the right hands. In addition to the work and expense involved with contact lenses and eyeglasses, which many times involved travel, for 24 years I'd been challenged with finding the proper contact lens prescription due to astigmatism in both eyes. I just got 3D Smile Lasik done by Dr. Ming Wang on 10/20/17! Best experience ever!! His staff are all so wonderful and kind. I get nervous easily but felt very at home here. I attended a seminar in my hometown on a Wednesday night. I felt so comfortable and sure he was the one I trusted to do my surgery that I went that following Friday to have my consultation. As I walked through the doors everyone was so happy and welcoming. I went through several test to see what surgery I was a candidate for. I ended up having two options 3d LASIK or 3d Smile. After speaking with Dr. Wang and his team we decided 3d smile was best for me. My surgery only took a short time and I was on my way home to rest. Hi this is Casey McCasland here, I am writing this review for my good friend Dr. Ming Wang and all the staff at the Wang Vision 3D Cataract & Lasik Center. I have been seeing Dr. Wang for the past three years for my vision in one way or the other and have been very happy with everything they do. I was seeing other doctor’s about my vision, but they all said there was nothing to be done about it and I would have to live with it. But God showed me another way, I was looking on the internet and Dr. Wang’s web page just popped up and as I read about he not only was he a world renowned Doctor and Surgeon but for most he was a Christen. I called Dr. Wang’s office and got appointment right away and they was wonderful about everything. First it was the scaring on my cornea that he did the PTK surgery and cleared my vision. It was like night and day with my vision I was so happy. But then about a month ago my vision got cloudy overnight and the only person that I wanted to look at my eye was my friend Dr. Wang. In life there is trials that we all must go through and life had just thrown me another one. When I seen Dr. Wang he said that it was a cataract that was clouding my vision. But, he told me not to worry the good Lord and him would take care of me. He told me about the New 3D Cataract Laser Surgery that only he performs here would be what we would do. We schedule my surgery for the next week and helped me prepare for it. During the surgery Dr. Wang was having a hard time seeing the cataract due to the old scaring on my cornea. But, he and I prayed a prayer, then he removed the cataract with God’s help guiding his hands and the rest went great. I have been improving a little every day, the Lord blessed me when I found Dr. Wang. I have loved not having to get out of bed in the morning and have to put in my contacts just to be able to see to go downstairs. Dr. Wang performed my incredible LASIK surgery 16 years ago and I wanted him to do my cataract surgery when it became necessary. Last Thursday Dr. Wang performed 3D Laser cataract surgery implanting his "Forever Young Lenses" in my left eye. There was no pain and his professional staff were wonderful. I am a 62 year old patient of Dr. Ming Wang of Nashville. My vision has declined both near and far over the past few years. Dr. Wang performed 3D LASIK on March 18, 2016. By the next day, everything was crystal clear. I still will need reading glasses at times due to a bad astigmatism. I had a great experience at Wang vision institute. Dr. Wang was very informative about the different options for my far sighted vision. Granted I am a 52 year old woman with very poor vision that other doctors would not even attempt to fix. I was told by all the doctors that my vision could not be fixed and I would have to just get used to wearing glasses, so I did. I found out about Dr. Wang on Facebook and decided to attend a seminar. I had my lasik procedure done the next day. He is a very down to earth man that takes very good care of his patients. This is part two to my review for my experiences at the Wang Vision Institute...On 22 April 2016 I had the second, and final, procedure on my journey to better vision without use of glasses! I had the 3D KAMRA procedure where a tiny thin disc is inserted into my eye which allows me to see close-up without inhibiting my distance vision. It is amazing! Dr Wang and his staff are such kind people, and any apprehension I may have had before the surgery was eliminated by the feeling of competency and compassion that is shown to you during the surgery. It actually took very little time for the procedure also, and immediately after I could read off a chart. The recovery time can take up to 3 months, during which time healing will be taking place and I will be 'training' my brain to use my left eye for reading. I am so thankful to have been able to have this procedure! Friday 19 February 2016 was the day I began my journey to being free of reading glasses! For the first time in my life I was going to have to start wearing glasses while indoors. It was very difficult for me to have them on all the time. I could not adjust to the feel of them on my face. I am SO thankful to have the opportunity to start this journey. On Friday I had the first procedure, 3D LASIK on only one eye, my non-dominant eye, which has already given me back my intermediate vision, in just one day!! What a blessing! Then in one month I will return for the second procedure, 3D KARMA, for the same eye, which will permanently return my close-up capabilities. At that point there will be some exercises for me to do to help the adjustment my brain will make for close-up and intermediate reading from one eye, and then distant from both. See I'm far-sighted, not the common ailment in vision, but thanks to technology and advances and the passion of Dr Ming Wang, there are options for me to be able to see wonderfully without the need for glasses! I could not be more happy with Dr. Wang and the Wang Vision Institute, after receiving the 3D lasik surgery. Everyone who worked there were as kind and welcoming as possible. While any surgery can be a bit nerve racking they made it as comfortable as possible. The actual surgery could not have gone better. Right before the surgery my good eye was double what qualifies as legally blind. The very next day I had 20/20 vision, and Dr. Wang said it will only get better as my eyes continue heal. A day after the surgery my eyes were already comfortable. I would say they felt 99% comfortable by 7:00 AM the next morning. I had worn glasses since 1975. But after having LASIK in 2000 when I was 33 years old, I was amazed at how wonderful the world was without glasses. Fast forward to 2012, and my mid-40s, and those ugly glasses came charging back into my life in the form of "reading glasses". My Experience LASIK 3D I called Wang Vision for lasik the new 3d lasik, the lady i spoke with was nice.I saw in the local paper there was a seminar, I went learned a lot about my particular procedure. I am 24 and I cant see far away so distance is my problem i was a -3.75 had to have glasses at all times even to watch tv or read the clock in the morning I also had a stigmatism i saw some things double vision or blurred to best describe little did i know my eye Dr Wang said there like a football is what a Stigmatism looks like in your eye.during the seminar Dr. Wang was there and got to meet the famous Wang himself not only is he a good Dr. hes a special man that god has blessed us with learned alot about his background which was hard in such a young life which he had great parents that were both smart doctors which made another great doctor.He talked about how he has helped even the blind be able to see a little from seeing black to seeing her face for the first time. So dont think your eyes cant be done. Wang helps people that truly needs it like blind orphans Thats one of the main reasons i went with Wang not only is he a great Dr. he has a heart of gold. My appointment went good every staff member he has was nice, a lot of places you go there is usually a couple that are so rude. They test you like a normal eye exam i was able to get lasik done they will tell you that day or your choice of getting it done the day of. you cant wear contacts for a week before surgery.You get medicine to calm your nerves, Dr Wang will pray on you and talk you through the whole surgery he will let you know what he is doing you wont feel anything but a little pressure it takes about 20 mins and you walk out after i got to my hotel i put the eye drops in and my eyes started feeling less dry i could see as if i was wearing my glasses right after i got up from the chair its truly amazing.you need to close your eyes and sleep after the surgery it heals when you wake up.The next morning i went back So Wang could check my eyes he said they look great, my eyes were red which is normal it was from the suction cup during the surgery it didnt hurt during the surgery just red after.Now i am on the 3rd day my eyes are still red but getting better, some peoples eyes clear right up the next day. You just have to use eye drops. I was compelled to believe I would have to spend the rest of my life wearing glasses. My vision had gotten so bad; first I lost my close up vision, then my far vision. It was to the point that, in order for me to see the signs on the interstate, I had to be right on top of them and by that time it was too late, another missed turn. After years of fighting with glasses slipping off my face, not being able to find my glasses, without my glasses, broken glasses all the time, buying over the counter readers constantly, always seeing halos around lights, starburst, floaters, double vision at times, having to have readers and a magnifying glass, just to be able to read, I felt I was just doomed to live this way. Then I saw a commercial with Dr. Ming Wang, I researched him for years before taking the final step and attending one of his seminars. I am so glad I did. On the day after my surgery, I was able to drive myself, 80 miles, to Dr. Wang's office for a post op follow up. I am very pleased with Dr Wang, the doctors, and staff at Wang Vision Institute. I has 3D cataract surgery and High Astigmatism correction. I have never been a candidate for lasik before and never thought I would be until Dr Wang. I also never thought I would develop Cataracts early. It is wonderful to be able to see without out glasses our contacts. I was back in gas permeable contacts and it was difficult. When cataracts developed I could not see colors or drive at night and was having difficulty driving during the day. My employer was concerned that I was not going to be able to keep up with reports due to low vision. At age 49 I did not know what was happening. It's hard to believe that less than 48 hours ago I to rely on contacts or glasses to get through the day. After being referred to the Wang Vision Institute (WVI) by a friend who previously had a procedure there, I decided to investigate further and I'm certainly glad I did. I researched multiple LASIK providers in the Nashville area, setting up evaluations and reading online reviews. After everything, WVI stood out as the best. My initial evaluation was very comprehensive and the staff was well practiced, answering all my questions. I also attended one of the seminars to learn more about the different procedures offered and was impressed with Dr. Wang's background. I received 3D LASIK from Dr. Wang and his staff; they were thorough, trustworthy, and courteous. I attended one of their seminars and received extensive information on Dr. Wang and the procedures offered; I signed up for a consultation that day.On the day of the consultation/procedure, I went through a comprehensive eye exam and was informed that I was a good candidate for LASIK. After an hour or two of waiting, I then had my procedure done. I was somewhat nervous, but it was all in all painless and did not last longer than thirty minutes, if not fifteen.After keeping my eyes closed that day and a night sleep, I woke up with perfect vision except for the slight blurriness. My follow-up appointment the day after the procedure ensured that it was successful, and I am now putting drops in for the next couple of weeks to avoid dry eyes and help the healing process.All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Wang. He has an astoundingly impressive resume and is a kind person. I felt confident in the 3D LASIK procedure because it was bladeless and guaranteed to be precise. The atmosphere at Wang Vision is very positive, which is beneficial if you are considering LASIK. The waiting area is comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, and Dr. Wang himself is a presence of peace. What could have been an anxious visit left me feeling a lot calmer than I expected. And, if a calm, positive atmosphere isn't enough to put you at ease before eye surgery, there's always the Valium they offer beforehand! During the actual LASIK procedure, the only discomfort was from the piece holding my eye open. I didn't feel a thing in my actual eye. Now, 2 days post-procedure, life is pretty much back to normal, save for the fact that I can see without glasses or contacts now! More

In December 2015 I went to visit Dr. Wang for a KAMRA evaluation. Due some distance vision issues they determined it would be better for me to have LASIK. The staff was amazing and I received the most thorough eye examination I've ever had. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The surgery was painless and literally took only seconds. I had the 3D LASIK surgery done Friday afternoon. By that night Dr. Wang himself called to check to see how I was doing. Saturday morning I had went by for my post-op checkup and everything went great. After wearing glasses and contacts for over 17 years I now can see 20/20 without wearing them. Just after having 3D Lasik by DR. Ming Wang, I’m seeing better than 20/20. When numerous other eye doctors said I wasn’t a candidate for Lasik. I had the 3D Lasik done on both eyes and If you have worn contacts for any amount of time you know how frustrating they are. I can't tell you enough how awesome it is to be able to see without them and I just had the surgery 1 day ago! Dr. Wang and his staff are amazing! The actual procedure is painless but I will say that it burns a lot on the way home and for a few hours but it was well worth that and the money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Dr. Wang was there the entire time to help with any questions and even called at 9pm the night after my surgery to see how I was feeling!! I just had lasik surgery done on both eyes and am totally thrilled with the result. Before surgery, I always had to wear contacts/glasses for everyday activities from driving to working. Dr. Ming Wang is a God given! He is so compassionate about his work and his patients!. I had 3D forever young lasik surgery on my left eye on Tues, July 28 and on my right eye, Thurs. July 30, 2015, Dr. Wang is very thorough about explaining the procedure and he never uses a blade! The procedure was not painful..no headaches, no problems! His staff at his ofc and surgery center are awesome. As they prepare you for your surgery they talk to you and make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Wang is so humble..he bows down and laid his hand on my head and prays to God for a safe and successful surgery! wow..what a blessing! What a great experience all the way from the first email that was sent to Wang Vision Institute (WVI) to the followup appointments!!I emailed WVI around 10:30 p.m. about a month ago and within the hour, I had a response back. I figured that one of his staff would respond but to my surprise, Dr. Ming Wang did. Very unexpected and showed me from the start that he truly cared about his patients. He CCd his emails to his appointment specialist and 2 weeks later I went to have my comprehensive exam. Upon entering his office, we were greeted by great employees. They were all very nice and had a professional demeanor. I am amazed by my experience and am still overwhelmed. Without my contacts or glasses I was unable to see 3 feet in front of my face. The eye chart for me was a joke. The "BIG E" was just a big blur. I had my surgery yesterday and woke up this morning with 20/25 and 20/30 vision and it's only getting better! Tears of pure joy ran down my face as i opened my eyes and saw my husbands face for the first time in the morning light. I no longer have the constant worry of an emergency happening and I am unable to find my glasses. I no longer have the fear that a contact might fall out and having to always carry extras, along with drops and solution. The staff was wonderful, caring, and so very patient. I recently made the decision to follow through with my dream of having Lasik. I had been researching and asking questions of previous Lasik patients for the last couple of years. My prescription was not bad, but I still struggled with wearing contacts and glasses on a daily basis. Dr. Wang held a seminar in my home town one evening. I went to the seminar and was impressed to see Dr. Wang at the seminar offering pizza to everyone and being caring enough to answer anyone’s questions. I thought the seminar was very informative and made me feel more comfortable with the idea of the procedure. The seminars are also a great way to receive some extra savings towards the procedure. They made it very easy for me to schedule an eye evaluation with Dr. Wang. A couple of weeks later I went to Wang Vision Center for my evaluation. I was very nervous, but as soon as I arrived and met some of the staff I began to feel more relaxed. The atmosphere and the staff make you feel very comfortable. All of the staff was extremely nice and informative. After finding out that I was a candidate for the 3D Lasik procedure I realized I was ready to make that decision to go ahead with the procedure with Dr. Wang. He is very knowledgeable and using some of the most up-to-date technology to perform the procedure. I wanted to get the best when it comes to my vision and I felt that Dr. Wang was the best. Before starting the procedure Dr. Wang said a prayer with me. Just a few hours after the procedure, I was feeling much better and seeing great. I am so happy that my 3D Lasik surgery was completed by Dr. Ming Wang and his staff. They were professional, thorough, and friendly. I underwent many tests to see if I qualified for the 3D Lasik procedure. All information was presented verbally and in writing. On the day of my surgery, everything went as scheduled. Yesterday morning I couldn't see well enough to even find my glasses when I woke up because of how extreme my far sightedness was. Yesterday afternoon Dr. Wang prayed over me and asked God to bless the surgery he was about to perform. After the surgery he told me that far sightedness is difficult to correct but that God had been with us throughout the surgery. That night, Dr. Wang called to check on me. This morning I woke up to a whole new world. Less than 24 hours after 3D LASIK surgery I am seeing 20/30 in my right eye and 20/25 in my left. As the week goes on I should progress to 20/20 - an outcome I didn't believe was possible. 99% of surgeons could not do what Dr. Wang did. I had 3D LASIK surgery on Friday. My experience has been awesome! I can not say enough great things about the staff at Wang Vision Institute. They took really great care of me. I have had glasses since I was 3 years old. My eyes were extremely farsighted with bad astigmatisms. Every doctor I had seen told me I would never be a candidate for LASIK surgery. Dr. Wang is the only doctor that could do my surgery. A day post surgery, I am seeing 20/25. My eyes are still healing at the moment, so hopefully in a couple of months I will be a normal 20/20 or even better! I had the 3D Lasik done on both eyes and If you have worn contacts for any amount of time you know how frustrating they are. I can't tell you enough how awesome it is to be able to see without them and I just had the surgery 1 day ago! Dr. Wang and his staff are amazing! The actual procedure is painless but I will say that it burns a lot on the way home and for a few hours but it was well worth that and the money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Dr. Wang was there the entire time to help with any questions and even called at 9pm the night after my surgery to see how I was feeling!! I had 3-D Lasik and PRK done Dec 5, 2014 by Dr. Ming Wang and could not be any happier being that I had Lasik surgery done by another doctor in 2006 and Dr. Wang was correcting that surgery. I had 3D bladeless lasik surgery less than 24 hours ago with Dr. Ming Wang and it is simply amazing! I wish I had done this sooner. My contacts prescription was -6.50 before the procedure - this morning when I went for my f/u appointment, I have 20/25 vision! It will improve even more over the next few weeks. I am in awe at what I can see now without the assistance from glasses or contacts - I woke up this morning and looked around and was excited about what all I could see in detail that I couldn't see before i reached for my glasses. Dr. Wang is the best. Had mono-vision surgery for my left eye for reading and my right eye is my distance. I am 62 years young and Suzanne Gentry his Patient Coordinator explained to me I may need the Forever Young at my age. Suzanne was wonderful to work with and very patient on my many calls and emails and questions. She also scheduled my appt. so if I had the surgery done I could be there and have it done after my testing. I was a candidate for the lasik mono-vision. I had worn a contact for this for years but when worn long hours, or getting in the dust or dry elements it would dry my eyes and I had to take it out and then search for glasses to read. Scott did my testing and he was wonderful. He explained each test, what it was and why it was being done and what they were looking for. The testing alone was nothing that I had ever seen but they know your eyes inside and out when your done. I would like to thank Dr. Wang, Scott and Suzanne as well as the entire staff. There is a bit of wait time for your appointment since the office gets crazy busy. However, once you get in the room, the staff is very nice, professional, and knowledgable. You won't be rushed or pressured into anything. They do all they can to help you with anything you do not understand. They will even help calm your nerves before the procedure. You will get to meet Dr. Ming Wang before and after the procedure. He even takes the time to personally call you and make sure you are doing well after the surgery. Overall, the customer service at the Wang Vision Institute is absolutely amazing. I had my 3D LASIK eye surgery just two days ago. It is now 44 hours later and I am so happy with the results. Dr. Ming Wang has done such a wonderful job. Prior to my surgery I could barely see in front of me without my glasses. Dr. Wang and his entire staff are professional, kind and informative. They went out of their way to reassure me, answer my questions and make me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I learned that I have steep corneas that would require PRK instead of Lasik I was disappointed and a bit panicked. PRK sounded more painful and would require a longer recovery time, neither of which I'd planned for. Erika, my coordinator, took the initiative to speak to Dr. Wang and have him review my test results. Dr. Wang determined that my corneas were only slightly steep and that I could indeed have 3D Lasik. I had the procedure in the late afternoon and was resting comfortably last night. I woke up this morning and could read the bedside clock. I am typing this without glasses which was IMPOSSIBLE this time yesterday. I feel like the world is much bigger today and I think Dr. Wang and his team. I'm so glad I made the decision to use Wang Vision for my corrective surgery and will refer friends and family as well. Wang Vision Institute is amazing. I had 3D Lasik in February of 2013 and a touch up yesterday due to severe myopia in both eyes (right eye being the worst. My husband, Brad, had an amazing experience with Dr. Wang. Brad has worn glasses since he was 18 months old. He wore a patch for 2 years due to a lazy eye and had a pretty bad astigmatism. Most eye doctors wouldn't even consider doing surgery on his severe farsightedness. I was extremely near sighted my whole life- to the point that I would refer to it as "debilitatingly nearsighted". Kind of a joke, but also kind of serious. Over the years, my eyes became very dry and intolerant of contacts and I developed a recurrent condition called giant papillary conjunctivitis. It is truly liberating and life changing to begin each day without the need of glasses or contacts for the first time since I was five years old. I had poor distance vision and struggled with glasses and contacts for almost 20 years. I wanted Lasik for many years but I was apprehensive. I was recently trying to build up the courage to actually go through with the procedure when I heard about one of Dr. Wang’s seminars. I attended the seminar and was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Wang’s knowledge, experience, skill, and compassion. Dr. Wang is amazing! I was skeptical to have lasik and my then after 12 years decided I was ready. My optometrist told me I couldn't have it done because of my astigmatism. I went to Dr. Wang and because he specialized in irregular astigmatism he said it would be possible! I went in and it was wonderful. I had NO pain whatsoever. I've been wearing corrective lenses (both glasses and contacts) for over 32 years and have been told by numerous eye doctors that I was not a candidate for LASIK. I was one of those people who couldn’t see two inches in front of my face because my vision was so bad. After moving to Nashville, my local eye doctor (Dr. Norris in the Gulch) referred me to Dr. Wang at Wang Vision. I just had my 3D LASIK surgery this past Friday and I am very happy with my newly gained vision -- it's only Sunday and I'm typing on my computer without glasses! Except the minor complaint about the long waiting time, especially during consultation/evaluation (mostly due to the large number of patients), overall I have been very pleased with my experience with Dr. Wang and his staff. It's not cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang to anyone. More
I can't find words appropriate for my experience and the way I was taken care of with Dr. Wang and his staff, aside to say that I could not have been more pleased and impressed. He and his staff have forever raised the standard and my outlook on Doctors. I have had terrible vision almost my entire life. I was nearly blind without my contacts or glasses and using them was getting harder for an unknown reason to me. God opened a door for me and gave me an opportunity to speak with and see Dr. Wang and after testing was found to have a dry eye condition to go along with my decreased vision which was worsening my other problems. Dr. Wang personally assured me that he would take care of me and pre-op when the staff took my glasses, the smile they gave when they assured me that I wouldn't be needing those anymore was very promising. I was so moved by not only the entire staff but by Dr. Ming Wang himself, who even came to my table as I was being prepped and prayed with me prior to surgery. I was so moved and comforted that I nearly cried before I could even see. Today my vision is already better than what I'm used to and its barely healing. I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Wang. I did exhaustive research and visited other centers and no other doctor was able to address my abnormal astigmatism. The day after my LASIK surgery I saw without blur for the first time in over 20 years. Dr. Wang himself called after the surgery to check in, and during the checkup the next day, he was very excited with the progress. As was I.He was also kind enough to offer my son the opportunity to shadow him at his office to give him a positive visual of the interests my middle schooler already shows. Dr Ming Wang just did 3D Lasik in both of my eyes 1 day ago and it is amazing how well I can already see!! Dr Wang is awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It took a few hours to get all of my test done and have the surgery done in the same day but the doctors office is very comfortable and they have snacks and drinks for you. The surgery only took about 45 seconds per eye and was painless but it does burn a lot afterwards. It was so worth the money and less than a day of pain for me to be able to see without glasses or contacts anymore!! I would recommend for anyone to have this done by Dr Wang! More

I have just completed lasik eye surgery for cataracts including the Forever Young Lens. Dr. Wang's Institute made the entire process so easy and comforting. You do worry when you are going to have eye surgery but Dr. Wang and his staff were like family in helping to understand each step. They share written information , videos , and take the time to go over any concern. The big surprise was there was not any pain or discomfort before, during, or after the process. Unknowns are scary but Dr. Wang and staff make it better by giving you a lot of information so you understand what is going to happen next. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Wang says a little prayer with you which was helpful in reducing my fears. There was trust that everything was going to work out Ok and it did! I went Wang Vision Institute for my LASIK eye surgery, they are very thourogh. I was impressed by the staff's knowledge, and tenderness. I was told by another LASIK doctor that I would not be a candidate for LASIK because my eye lense was too small for a blade. Doctor Wang was the only place in TN who could do my LASIK because he doesn't use a blade. My LASIK surgery went pretty well, even though I was very scared, I cried a ton but the staff just kept telling me my surgery was great, that I did great. I also found it very warming that Doc. The staff at WVI is really unparalleled. They helped calm my nerves about the surgery, and they kept me informed abut the entire examination process. I had the 3D Lasik procedure done, and it was so worth it. It was about 4 hours of severe discomfort post-op, but then it became completely worth it when I realized I was seeing 20/20. i went to get lasik or at the least try and see if i was a candidate after being shot down so many times. dr wang took me in looked over my charts and immediately said he could do it! my vision was horrible before i had an extreme amount of astigmatism. after performing my surgery my vision was a huge increase now i can see 20/25 and that was after the first day! its only going to get better. theres so many things i could say about my experience but simply it was amazing and life changing. I have worn glasses since I was 8. I had 3D lasik by Dr. Wang yesterday. This morning when I woke up I could see!!!! No glasses or contacts. Not to be punny but I could not believe my eyes! First, I cannot possibly say enough good things about Dr. Wang. I started off reading about him online and being simply blown away by his credentials. I knew I wanted to learn more, so I went to his information session, and was chosen for a 50% off coupon, which was obviously huge! I thought I was impressed with his accomplishments before going to this session, but I teared up multiple times seeing his genuine heart for people and the work he's done with orphans and people all over the world. Second, I made my decision to go ahead with the surgery. Everyone in the office was friendly, welcoming and calming. I decided to take the sedative before the surgery and honestly i'm glad I did. For some, it's very uneventful, but for me, I was quite nervous through all of it. That said, Dr. Wang prayed over me beforehand (which, as a Christ follower, was one of the most comforting moments of the day) and then began the surgery. He talked me through it, always communicating what was happening each step of the way. The whole surgery was no more than 10 minutes and that was it! The first night, my eyes stung quite a bit, but after a round of Motrin, it subsided early in the night. I slept through the night, woke up today, and i have 20/20 vision in both eyes! They told me it will continue to improve slightly over the next couple of weeks as well!! My eyes feel a little like I have a piece of dust in them today, but it's very bearable.Would I recommend Dr. Wang? A thousand times over. I don't trust my eyes with any other doctor. I researched LASIK for about 4 years before moving forward and I don't believe there is anyone better in the business or more qualified. Don't wait. Just do it. I can't explain how emotional it was to wake up this morning and see the world perfectly! More

I am so happy to have finally gotten lasik eye surgery. I knew since I was in seventh grade it would be something I would get. I was so happy to get it from the best Dr in the world. Is it pricey? Of course but if you didnt pay a lot you would probably wonder why. In the end though no more money spending on contacts and glasses. I have been wanting LASIK for years, but just couldn't pull the trigger. I decided to go to a Wang Vision seminar and was impressed by the Dr. Wang. I could tell he was passionate about vision correction and is on the cutting edge of laser technology. I decided to go ahead with the procedure...Since I live an hour away, I decided to get the evaluation and (hopefully) the procedure in the same day. Sure enough, I was a good candidate. Last week, I received the LASIK procedure at Dr. Wang's office in Nashville. I was slightly nervous before the procedure, but Dr. Wang's staff did an excellent job of quelling all anxiety before the procedure. I do not have enough positive things to say about the experience. Dr. Wang and his staff are extremely personable and professional, and they did a fantastic job throughout the preliminary testing and during the procedure as well. There was very little waiting time involved, and they use the most advanced technology available for the procedure, so the recovery process is very rapid. I cannot imagine a better experience for receiving a procedure as important as LASIK. Dr. Wang and his staff gave me my vision back, and I wouldn't have rather worked with anyone else in the area. Dr. Wang and his staff are superb. Very professional atmosphere, quick with the paper work, will help finance, does a very thorough assessment for 3D Lasik, and preforms the surgery as one of the best if not the best. The cost may seem a little pricey, but once you take into account the level of experience, cutting edge technology, and the thorough level of testing that is given it is worth the money. My personal experience with him was coming in to see if I was a good candidate, letting him review the test results (some done over twice, three, even four times just to make sure I was getting the best treatment), and then having the surgery the same day. My results the next day after surgery 20/20. Need I say more how extraordinarily talented he and his team are for eye correction. Dr. Wang is the only doctor/eye surgeon I would allow to operate on my eyes. Your sight and vision is a precious gift and you should entrust it to the top doctor in this field. I would only recommend Dr. Wang to any and all prospective patients looking to have any type of eye operation and/or surgical procedure. Personally, I would not let any of my family members or friends go to any other doctor/eye surgeon. Dr. Wang has a proven track record of success; not to mention he is an inventor of many pioneering eye procedures as well as advanced technologies. He achieved outstanding academic successes at both Harvard where he received his MD and graduated with magna cum laude honors and then graduated from MIT with a PhD is Laser Physics. Dr. Wang is one of the kindest and friendliest doctors I have ever met. He completely puts you at ease prior, during and after your procedure. In my case, I had the 3D LASIK (TN’s only blade less) surgery. Dr. Wang even allowed my Dad to stay in the surgical suite during the operation for moral support which was extraordinarily kind. During the procedure, I felt no pain or discomfort. Dr. Wang kept my eyes extremely lubricated and talked me through each step of the procedure in a calm trusting voice. I was completely at ease and relaxed the entire time during the procedure—it surprised me! I thought I would be extremely nervous but I was the complete opposite: calm, cool and collected. I truly believe Dr. Wang and his wonderful surgical staff are the reasons why I was so entirely calm during my procedure. The procedure was extremely fast and I couldn’t believe it was over so quickly.The day I had 3D LASIK (TN’s only blade less technique) changed my life forever in the best way possible. It is a beautiful gift to be able to see clearly—even better than before when I wore glasses/contacts. The day after my procedure, I had a post-operative evaluation. I tested 20/20 in both my right and my left eye and together with both eyes. I have perfect vision! It's difficult to explain how it feels to type this review with my naked eyes just one day after my 3D LASIK procedure. The proof is in the pudding, I suppose, since yesterday morning my vision could not even be measured on the 20/- scale. In that space on my chart, they wrote "CF3," which means "counting fingers at three feet." This morning I woke up and was able to see the faces of my family for the first time without corrective lenses. I was amazed at the crisp detail of my vision and how well my eyes were already healing. I went in for my follow-up exam today, and my vision is now 20/20, though it may get even better over the next few weeks as my eyes continue to heal.Now, you have probably figured out that you will pay more for Dr. Wang's services than you will at other laser vision providers. This is not because of hype. It's because he is the best of the best. He is so far ahead of the curve on these technologies that there is really no comparison. We had to do a lot of financial shuffling to make it work, but we believe what we were effectively paying for was a significantly increased risk of a great outcome. To use a sports analogy that will show my age, a lot of people can play basketball. Not everyone is Michael Jordan.Some helpful info to consider:-I chose to do a consultation and, if it was determined I was a candidate, have the procedure same-day. From what I understand, this is only done on Fridays. You can expect it to take up the whole day. We were not uncomfortable at all, but it would be a good idea to bring snacks and/or pack a lunch if you choose to go this route because you probably won't feel like eating after the procedure.-Each and every member of the staff was kind and genuine, took time to address all questions and concerns I (or my husband) had, and made me feel safe and comfortable.-I rejected the offer of a sedative before the procedure and was totally fine. It is a little strange to be fully aware of everything that's going on, but know that if taking mood-altering substances makes you uncomfortable, you can and will be fine without doing so. For me personally, I felt I would be better able to follow instructions and understand what was happening to me without the drugs. At no point did I feel I pressured to take or do anything.-For the rest of the day after the procedure, you will feel pretty crappy. It will be indescribably better the next day, but be prepared that the first 6-8 hours will be unpleasant. Plan to go home, lay down, and keep your eyes closed (except when you take your many eye drops) until the morning after. Plan to have someone with you at home to help you administer drops and gather things you need, as your eyes will be sore and tire easily, and your vision will still be blurry.Dr. Wang is a strong adherent to Christian faith. He prays a quick but audible prayer before every surgery he performs. While I do not share his religious beliefs, I also did not find them a barrier to our rapport. He is a man who walks the walk and doesn't just talk the talk, so to speak.Overall, I would recommend Dr. Wang to anyone who wants a laser vision surgery of any kind. I researched for two years, and in the end there was simply no one better. More

I am extremely satisfied with everything from Wang Vision institute! After my consultation I was able to get an appointment for Lasik on the exact day and time I wanted. They even worked with my schedule and gave me an appointment later than they typically allow. The office is nice, clean, and peaceful. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly. The day of surgery went very well. The procedure was surprisingly entirely painless! After I got home and went to sleep and woke up 8 hours later I could see perfectly clear! I was even able to drive and accomplish chores less than 24 hours after the procedure. I really appreciated that a few hours after the surgery Dr. Mang himself called me to see how I was doing. This was around 9pm. I was incredibly impressed that he cared enough to call to check on me after hours. They automatically scheduled me for a followup appointment the next day to make sure everything was okay. One of the best parts is each time I came to the office I was able to see Dr. Mang. Additionally it was Dr. Mang himself who does the surgeries. I am incredibly pleased with my results and I would recommend him to anyone! I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" -- and that is why I knew that I would not be comfortable entrusting my eyesight to just any surgeon. When I started researching LASIK options in Nashville, the Wang Vision Institute came up early as the place that country music celebrities go for LASIK and cataract surgery. To be honest, I was a little turned off from the website -- it is a little overwhelming! But after my consultation with Dr. Wang, I realized that he was the doctor for me. Not only is he passionate about his profession, but he is also into the latest technology. I am a pretty risk-averse person but knew that between Dr. Wang's extensive experience and his 3D bladeless surgical technology, it was the best possible option to correct my nearsightedness (20/400). I considered lasik for years, almost a decade actually. I've interviewed doctors in Memphis, Birmingham, Huntsville and of course Nashville. I only considered the doctors who got the top referrals and ratings. This was never something I was wanting to get a "good deal" on - I simply wanted the best. Dr. Wang was my choice because:1. He has an excellent educational background (he knows both medicine and lasers.) 2. He's performed many procedures. 3. I figured that he would care about his patients. The last part was important because I didn't want to be just another procedure enabling my doctor to play golf on the weekends. I wanted a doctor who would treat my procedure as important to him. I am so glad I chose Dr. Wang. You can read all about the first two points, so really you probably just want to hear about the third point. I guessed that he would care about his patients because of all of the charity work he does, and my guess was right. Dr. Wang emails and calls his patients personally. His operating assistant walked me back to my hotel lobby (I was in Nashville alone getting lasik.) I received a follow up call the evening of my surgery from him asking if I was ok. Everything went well but I know that if there ever was a complication or if one develops he will be available to help. Since this is my eyesight I'm dealing with that's important to me. Also, it was a wonderful surprise to me to learn about Dr. Wang's faith as a Christian after choosing him purely on the basis of who I thought the best doctor would be. I asked Dr. Wang to pray with me before the surgery and he did. If you want Dr. Wang to operate on you because of his science background that's great. His credentials are there. I was so glad to have both the scientific expertise and God on my side when going through eye surgery. I have no doubt that God was and is watching over my eyes and also over Dr. Wang's work. Regardless of your religious background my recommendation is to go to Dr. Wang for lasik. There are many great doctors and I might have had a great lasik experience elsewhere. However, after years of research it was clear to me that I would be most comfortable trusting my eyesight to Dr. Wang, and I'm so glad I did. More

On Friday, I went into Wang Vision Institute for my consultation to possibly get the 3D Bladeless LASIK procedure; I found out that I was a good candidate. My right eye was 20/200 and my left eye was 20/400, so my vision was pretty bad. But, I knew from researching Dr. Wang that he is the best in the business. When it comes to your eye sight (which is of the utmost importance) you want to go to the best doctor possible for correction. Dr. Ming Wang certainly has a track record that speaks for itself. Dr. Wang and the staff were wonderfully supportive of my anxiety about getting this procedure done. After their comforting and reassurance, I was ready. I went into surgery and was out about 10 minutes later. It was totally painless. I could actually already tell that my vision had already improved when I sat up due to everything in the room not being blurry (there was a cloudiness at first but that's gone now). I have been making sure to follow Dr. Wang's post-op orders. Today, I went in for my follow up and my right eye is now 20/20; my left eye is 20/30 and my healing is around 60-70% already! I had researched for years about lasik surgery but was too young to have the surgery. This year I decided to research more and I contacted Dr. Wang by email, (October 9th). Dr. Wang and his staff responded the very next day with more information for me and I was able to set up my consultation and eye evaluation (October 24th). The staff were extremely nice, friendly, and professional. The staff even worked with me on pricing that was good for me which I am very thankful for. I was an Army medic for 8.5 years and have been a Firefighter for the past 13.5 years. I have fought with wearing glasses and contacts for the past 20 years. All I can say is what a great experience from the time you walk in the door until you are finished and even when you get home they are 100% a first class operation. I have never been to a doctors office as professional and kind as Wang Vision Institute. To say that the staff is kind is an understatement. Often you enter a doctors office and are treated like just another patient or a number but what you experience with Dr. Wang's staff is so different. I thought I would be waiting in the reception area for a long time and even though I arrived early, I was seen right away. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, offered me refreshments and answered every questions I possibly could think of. I had the Lasik 3D surgery and I was so nervous, the staff kept me calm and Dr. Wang even said a prayer before the procedure. He talked with me during the procedure which helped a lot and before I knew it, the procedure was complete. That night Dr. Wang called me personally to make check on me and answer any questions. My follow up appointment with Dr. Wang was just as great. I donated my old glasses that he will bring to China for people who are in need.
