Dr. Ming Wang, a Harvard & MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude) and one of the few eye surgeons in the world today who holds a PhD degree in laser physics, has always been at the forefront of research and quality eyecare. Together with Drs. Boerman, Sztipanovits, and Kugler, offers state-of-the-art Children's Eyecare at Wang Vision Institute.
Children's Eye care Services at Wang Vision Institute include:
- Examinations for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism in children
- Contact lens fittings for children under age 18
- Management of amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (crossed eyes)

Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration: As a 501c(3) charity established by Dr. Ming Wang, the doctors involved with the Children's Eyecare Services at WVI offer charity sight restoration surgeries for children from around the world who have lost sight due to injury and infection and who cannot afford advanced eye reconstructive surgeries. Recent patients that we have helped include Kajal, a 5-year-old blind girl from India, and Margarette, a 10-year-old blind orphan from Haiti. To date, the foundation has helped patients from over 40 states in the US and 55 countries worldwide, with all sight restoration surgeries performed free of charge.
